Hey guys, ive been gone for three days, but im back

I just read the Behind the scenes September, and got an idea from it involving the release of MechScape

Anyway, onto the topic.



I think the "magical inhabitant" will be nothing to start off, but may eventually be something to link two worlds togehter...Runescape and Mechscape. I know when Jagex released FunOrb they didnt link the two sites or anything, but seeing as MechScape is another MMORPG, they may possibly be linked, or at least mentioned in the game itself.

I also think that MechScape has a possible reference here



the (or where) part is the clue. Maybe you will be able to go to MechScape from runescape...but i think that wont happen (im 99.999% sure it wont happen)

I belive that the Distractions and diversions is just another word for the replacment of Randoms (or some of it). Mechscape was is just a rumor blown out of proportion with no real solid evidence. That Mechscapeworld would be a massive fail if Mechscape never comes out.

and haha at meachscapeworld if it wodesnt come out (which it will...jagex already bought the trademark and evetrything)

They mentioned in the first or second 'State of Play' article that since autoers have been reduced by a large amount, the obsessive random event occurances were pointless so they were going to remove some and tweak the ones they were keeping, and make them occur on a smaller scale.

ok...i hope they keep the drill demon for a little while longer though...i need the rest of the outfit!

I'm sure they will keep the ones that give Random specific rewards and outfits, or else there would be some pretty mad ppl itching to post about it on the Official fourms.

that really sounds like fun. a new runescape well not a new runescape but a diffrent game.

I hope its f2p too. I think it should be near Lumbridge Swamp. Its a lonely place.

On topic: It's just a new MMO created by jAGeX, and this one is a scientific type so it'll be Extra Nerdy!

I have a feeling they wont remove randoms. Remember they aid in weeding out and thwarting 'autoers',
I think Jagex did this to provide an alternative to randoms ,that, people actually want to do.
Remember if you see these distractions, you don't have to react, while with randoms you do.

Anyways as long as it doesn't kill runescape or something like that then it dosen't really matter to me what happens with Mechscape.

same...mechscape seems kinda weird...like mechquest (which is adventure quest in the furute XD)

I'm probably not going to play Mechscape, unless it's Runescape Millenia in the future.

They mentioned it at E3, not by Mechscape but as a 'sci-fi rpg set to release in '09' or somethin like that. It's not a rumor at this point, it's very much fact that Jagex is coming out with a new MMORPG, the only thing that isn't 100% is the name. I'll most likely play it since they claimed it'll be aimed for a more mature audience, meaning the game will likely be a bit more complex and challenging in gameplay.

the STAR SPRITE is just a magical thing were the stars they live in have fallen down to one of the lesser realms.
they mihght link some strange world, but i can tell you, it wont be mechscape. and WHERE THE HELL DID THEY ANNOUNCE THIS THING LIKE SO MANY NOOBS HAD SAID?

You Don't need a new Acount To play you can use the RuneScape Account it apens as well as FunOrb
