Hey all! im just wondering what screen video taker u use.... im looking for one thnks in advance : )

There is also camstudio, which is free I believe. Camtasia has a trial you can use.

i use hypercam the real one. although i kinda liked the "unregistered hypercam 2" to hide when i drank pots, etc
I use hypercam 
CamStudio. I find HyperCam much harder to use, and feels like really cheap software that's not even worth paying for. CamStudio is also completely free, unlike HyperCam, which leaves that "unregistered" mark if you don't pay.

lol i use frontcam. *ducks quickly as all the hypercam users turn around* i found that hypercam makes my computer run too slow. you can record the whole screen on low detail with front cam but in high detal it can only do a 5x5 square without running at 2 FPS.
i agree with that.^ it is kinda nice. frontcam puts a tag in the corner as well and its yellow. but on the whole i like it very much. works well for me.

i like it! i hav eyet to test it but its verry simaler in its menues and options to front cam. i think front cam is going to become under used with me..... go with camstudio!

They take advantage of the fact that it is open-source, so they rip it and claim it as their own, putting a price tag on it and putting their own copyright on it.
However I think copyrighting a direct rip of any free software is illegal, so they should get caught eventually.

I use the 'Prt Scr' button. There's nothing i want to do that i can't do with that, although I have nothing that I would want to film on my computer.
I don't do much screen recording, but I have CamStudio on my computer. Hence me not doing a lot of screen recording, I don't see the need for me to go out and get me Camtasia, as it would be a waste of money (for me) in my opinion.
Yeah I don't make many videos but I have hypercam.
I use CamStudio (which is free) and SnagIt 8 (which isn't').
