Step 1
What is ALT CODE?

Ok so maby your asking "What the hell is an alt code?"
well alt codes are symbols you would not normally find on a computer keyboard so Microsoft made alt codes...where you can make these symbols with just easy tasks like this
Some Alt Symbols----- © ² £ ž ² ³ „ ó æ ▓ ╞ ┘î ╝ Ö ╜ └
of cource there are lots more symbol's than just these....Some alt codes like ¥ can be used on verious games like "Runescape" or "World Of Warcraft" The picture alt codes "▓ " however may not be conpatible with games like Runescape Or WoW. So you will have to stick with some of the less detailed codes like ²©¥ etc.... now go on to step 2 and ill teach you how to do alt codes!!!

-----------------------------------------
Step 2
How to make an Alt Code

Alt codes can be used for anything realy. From Making people wonder how you did them to Having picture contests and Conversations with people! anyway here is how you make an alt code

Step 1) Make sure you have Number (Num) lock on
Step 2) Make sure you have a non-portable (Not a laptop) Computer
Step 3) Press Down and hold ALT
Step 4) Press the numbers on the Number pad to your right (not the ones on top or it wont work!)
Step 5) press your numbers you want the alt code to be
CONGRATS YOU'VE MADE AN ALT CODE!! prosseed to Step 3 for alt code's
-----------------------------------------------------------
Step 3
Lists Of Alt Codes
Note: Do not add the "+" in the alt code

Alt + 157 = ¥
Alt + 0169= ©
Alt + 1788 = ²
Alt + 158 = ₧
Alt + 146 = Æ
Alt + 187 = ╗
Alt + 159 = ƒ
Alt + 163 = ú
Alt + 168 = ¿
Alt + 0137 = ‰
Alt + 0135 = ‡
Alt + 0153 = ™
Alt + 0216 = Ø
Alt + 0247 = ÷
Alt + 0182 = ¶
Alt + 0128 = €
Alt + 0149 = •
Alt + 0164 = ¤
Alt + 0162 = ¢
Alt + 0167 = §

That is just some of the many alt codes... Feel free to Exparement yourself!!!

You can make an Alt Code using a notebook too. You just hold "Fn" and "Alt", and hit the corresponding numbers on the keyboard. The numbers will not be along the top row, but instead on the characters M, J, K, L, U, I, O, 7, 8, and 9.

Just like your other guide, this would be most appropriate in the Tutorial system.

Topdog explained how to do that in post 2 using the FN key to access the numpad.

Before I report this for bumping, I wanted to correct you. If you have numpad off, the keys will function as arrow keys and not numerals. Numpad needs to be on to access the numbers, which are what is needed for the Alt codes to work.
