Why I would like to join: I believe that I could bring a unique perspective to the newspaper since I'm active in both the Sal's forums and the Runescape forums. I am also an accomplished writer winning school-wide awards in creative writing. They are; being the only person in the 4th grade to make a '4' on the state writing test (it being highest possible score), and winning the equivelent of the Caldecott Award for a book I published through a school contest/project last year.

The section I would like to join: I would be elated if I would be accepted as a member of the Runescape Discussion section.

Experience: I have started and maintained control of a Runescape Future Updates forum thread called Falador's Fact or Fiction with 172 posts at the time of this writing.

Example: ~The Wise Old Man~

We all probably know who the Wise Old Man of Draynor village is F2P and P2P alike. Though many of the non members may not know that The Wise Old Man is in fact a retired adventurer who is very knowledgeable in quests. Recently, he has been suspected of bank robbery by a certain citizen of the town. In fact, the nearby bank that was supposedly robbed by him had a few staff members killed.
Also, he got away with a handsome sum of cash and even a blue party hat! The Bank of Runescape has a security-orb recording of him robbing the bank and killing four or five citizens and staff members. For some odd reason, the government has not arrested him even though they have one or two soldiers on standby that are protecting the town. I guess that they are scared of him because if you have done the quest Swan Song this sinful Sarodominist packs a powerful punch. Did I mention that he has a telescope pointed at the Wizard's Tower and has ammassed a large amount of tinderboxes? It is obvious that he is planning to destroy the tower. Many people think that the WOM is a zamorakian but it is pretty obvious that he is a sarodominist because he has the staff of sarodomin, sarodomin armor, and as a teenager he wrote 'Sarodomin pwns' on the walls of Varrock's zamorakian temple.

~The White Knights of Falador~
Who are the White Knights? Well, they are an order of knights that serve the city of Falador and King Vallance of Falador. To me, it seems that they are working with King Vallance on a contract and may be wanting to gain total control of Falador by eliminating King Vallance, if they have not already. You see, No one really knows where King Vallance is, and that has lead many to believe that the White Knights had him assassinated. Also, I believe that they are in league with the Temple Knights, an order much like the White Knights. I have a feeling that they will soon join together to make a combined force. (possibly of evil)

~The Temple Knights~
The Temple Knights are a group of knights, presumably based in Falador. We join the Temple Knights by completing 'Recruitment Drive' quest, started by talking to the weird old man that sits in Falador Park, Sir Tiffy Cashien- chief recruiting officer of the Temple Knights. No one really knows where their headquarters are but some believe that the mysterious rock formation East of Falador may be a portal to it. The Temple Knights are very much like the Knights Templar, from the Crusades in real life. If you have ever seen National Treasure with Nicholas Cage in it, you might know what I mean. The enemy of the Temple Knights are the Sea Slugs led by Mother Mallum. The Sea Slugs sort of want to brainwash all humans so Sir Tiffy is not a big fan of slugs at the moment. It seems that the Temple Knights may have something to do with the Mahjarrat, for Jake O'Nial (a Temple Knight) flees to 'the north' during the Sea Slug quest series. Lots of people have been waiting for a new quest surrounding the Temple Knights vs. Sea Slugs but it seems that for many, 'Kennith's Concerns' has made more questions than answers.

God Wars connection- Just like the Knights Templar irl, the Temple Knights fought during the God Wars which is Runescape's equivalent of the Crusades. The Temple Knights were Sarodominists then, but what are they now? Also, Juna knows of them and may tell you that 'The Temple Knights are not what they seem'. This obviously means that something suspicious is going on in its ranks.

Malignus Mortifer- Who is this guy? I mean really, he's some mage south of Falador that has an obsession of morphing fungi into living things and back again. From his clothing I think that he's a Zamorakian but he currently doesn't pose a threat to Falador, or does he? We know from talking to him that he can summon undead armies to his side. Now that is scary! He could rise up against Falador with his army of the undead, but currently this master of magic is still tutoring his pupils in the elements.

The Black Knights- The Black Knights (a.k.a. Kinshra) are the sworn enemies of the White Knights of Falador. Their castle is located at the base of Ice Mountain, a strategic area in Asgarnia. Although they could easily attack Falador and/or Varrock, Reldo states in Postbag #4 that the White Knights do not think that there will be an attack very soon on either city. The Kinshra are Zamorakians and according to Reldo- not as organized as a Sarodominist army. That has led me to wonder, are the soldiers located near Draynor Village and Varrock deserters, or are they scouts sent out to plan future attacks?....

Burthorpe- Anybody that has studied Burthorpe knows that there are two things that the Imperial Guard hate- Trolls, and The White Knights. The White Knights have already sent a scout to patrol the area and see if Burthorpe is planning a rebellion. They already have their own army and government- a bad sign. Plus, they have some very radical views on Falador.

Goblin Village(under con.)- I was in the Goblin Village near Falador one day and noticed the banners of the two tribes there. I checked the book I got from Lost Tribe and they appeared to be the Goblins of the North and Goblins of the Sea. Why are they in this place? it makes no since for the 2nd tribe. I mean really the sea is way down at Draynor.

Annex-

Falador Rocks- Just North of the city you will find these mysterious rocks. There are many theories on their purpose and meaning. There are rune-like symbols on them which when put together make a bit of a message. Often, they are interpreted as crossing a frozen, windswept plain/ocean to the East to reach the Eastern continent. It has also been suggested that this is a portal for the Temple Knights. Even though this idea is popular, there isn't that much evidence to support it. Other possibilities include rune altar portals, and different pagan sculptures among other things.

P.S.- I have not shown the first post which includes the introduction.

Thanks!

Magic Of Woodcut
You have a few faulties in your post. Instead of them being altogether, like this:

It needs to be like this:

And your application seems fine. You seem to know your RuneScape tongue.gif

Wow, that's a lot of examples. ohmy.gif Even though each passage is not very long, it's fairly good writing. While you have a few grammar mistakes, I don't think it's too much of a big deal and nothing that someone else reading will probably catch on to before it is accepted.
Welcome to the team. smile.gif
