Basically, which keyboard layout is your favourite? I'm going to have to go with UK QWERTY, i like it and i've been using it for so long i've practically memorised it.
What about you?

I've been using a few Pearls over the last week or so and I haven't had a problem with Mini QWERTY. SureType has been bang-on for what I want, even with someone else's typing style on there.
There's also T9 (not a true keyboard style, but used by many teenage girls

). T9 is the number pad on a regular cell phone. Just adding in another "keyboard".

QWERTY. If you have an old IBM Model M and know key placement, you can modify it into whatever the heck you want it to be. Heck--you can select a different layout and then what's printed on each key is no longer relevant. I'm using QWERTY since I'm a pretty good touch typist as it is. I know these keyboards pretty well and I can type in the pitch dark with high accuracy, and not by cheating. I just know my keyboards that well that I don't worry about hitting the wrong key--I've been doing this for well over 80% of my life--not all as a touch typist but most of it. Other than that, I have to get rid of my current keyboard. It's trash--a Microsoft (Un)Comfort(able) Curve 2000.

I would consider the Dvorak layout - as it's optimised to enhance typing speed. But, I switch PCs so often, and it's meant to be impossible to still be able to touch type on both layouts. If at some point in the future I'm just using one keyboard all the time, I will switch.
On a side note, it's a (somewhat immature but) fun trick to play on someone. Switch their keyboard layout to Dvorak. Under Windows it's even possible to set up quick-key-shortcuts that allow you switch instantly between layouts, and this even works when the PC is locked. Oh what fun I've had with this one...

Hehehehehe. Same here - our typing teacher thought the computers had gotten a virus or something - it took her two years to understand, and only because we told her. She almost killed us, but it was for a good cause.

I've used QZERTY and QWERTY, and I like the latter better. I found myself having lots of problems with Dvorak keyboards, however - and I'm a master of T9 typing

For me, QWERTY is the only one that makes sense to use. As a touch typist doing over 100 WPM easily, I can't get used to another keyboard layout. I've used QWERTY for too long. I hear that going from QWERTY to AZERTY isn't too hard, though.

And I'm a QWERTY fan myself. Never seen or used anything else.
EDIT: Oh, and is there any keyboards that makes one hand typing quicker? Because I can only type efficiently with one hand, and I'm curious if anything is faster than QWERTY.
