When I try to open an image with Imageshack, it comes up with something saying "What would you like to do with this file?" And a "Save" or "open with:" options. I select either, and it won't open the image.
This happens with other image hosting sites as well.
How can I get this to stop?

Hmmm...I've never come across a problem like this. Well, if you really want my opinion, here's my advice:
-save the file as something else (sometimes imageshack is fussy about .jpeg and .png)
-use different program for image (instead of paint, use photoshop or jack's paint pro)
-switch computers--yours might have a virus that's causing this problem
-refresh the screen; maybe imageshack is being slow
-select "Save file as Image" option, if there is something like this available
-it is possible that you typed in imageshack's address wrong (it's .us, not .com)
-use tinypic; even if your computer has problems transferring data, tinypic will still work
-delete old images, videos etc. on your hard drive; sometimes overflows interfere with data transfers
-update your antivirus software. as i said before, a virus (probably a worm or pop-up virus) is causing the problem
-back up your hard drive; a recent crash or virus alert could've messed up the network
If nothing works, then stop uploading images. It is possible that someone is stealing data from your computer and messing with your data transfers. Each time you attempt to upload something, a little piece of information about your computer goes with it (depending on the website you use). You may be unaware that someone else is hacking your computer from right under you. Always use photobucket or iaza.com when uploading images, as they are the safest. Sometimes, on rare occasions, your computer goes into "Lockdown", where it allows nothing to leave or come to your computer, due to a virus threat or flaw in a software. Again, the best thing you can do is stop uploading images for a while, update your anti-virus software, use the Internet in safe mode, use your computer in safe mode each time following a crash, or browse on Mozilla Firefox. It's a lot safer than Internet Explorer. If all else fails, then I'm beaten. Chao!
