At a website i found they archived old websites in 1996,
and now its possible to browse the webistes as they were in 1996!

Its funny to see how they have changed
And theres one great feature: You can see all days in the year it was updated!

A little late for this, don't you think? Although it is great, I've been using it for years on sites that have closed down.

I've known about this for years too. I actually used it to look back on my old website to retrieve something that was lost on another computer. A helpful tool. It's nice to look back at old websites like Runescape.com and whatnot.

Edit: You're not seeing each day the site was updated. You're viewing each day the spider crawled on the page. Some days don't have updates while others are missing out on a lot of updates.

I cant find RuneScape on this thing, but i did find Sals Realm from 2004
Funny to look at the page in the RuneScape Classic time..
Shame that it didnt store the pictures, this site is like a time machine as it says, everything is untouched.
It is a shame that they dont have any stored page for RuneScape from 2001

Try searching Jagex.com and notice the web page was located at www.jagex.com/runescape.html
It is too bad they did block Runescape.com from being archived though, but you can find the first Runescape page (AFAIK) here: http://web.archive.org/web/20001110100100/.../runescape.html

I love it, I went back to Apple.com in 2006 to look at the old iBooks tech specs
And it isn't that bad compared to the new macbook
