Yes, works alright, comfortable, hard plastic to avoid it breaking easily.

Just go to an electronics store and buy a comfortable one, dont throw it and it probably wont break, USB is nice if you have speakers becuase you dont have to keep switching the Sound input/output cords.

Logitech.

Yeah, sound is good, makes me a bit high pitched but its alright. Oh and it digs into my ears slightly.. so i cant have it on too long. Need to find some sort of felt to make it more comfortable i guess.

Speaking of head-sets, I need to get a pair of them lol. Surprisingly, I have had no issue with just using my microphone and classic computer speakers, but I would prefer having head-sets atm, since I always blare my music. tongue.gif Might keep an eye on this topic, just in-case I feel the need to buy one myself. blush.gif

How much did it cost? Around $30 Australian dollars.
Are you pleased with it? If not, why? Yes, it takes some getting used to when you first use it because of the wierd headphones. However the microphone is good quality and you can turn your headphones up and your microphone on and off easily.

Thats the one i have, but the plastic bits kinda dig into your ears. sad.gif

Alot of people use these ones might i add, they are the most versatile of headsets and can be gotten from most shops/sites.

First of all if this headset is out of your price range, go for a $40-50 logitech because those are good and only break when you step on them (as i did to mine), however I did have a few problems with the microphone, and it is annoying not being able to adjust sound, last of you cannot use those for your mp3 player, therefore making them very single-purpose.

What is the brand and model of your headset? SteelSeries
Picture: (optional, but it would be nice if you could) http://www.steelseries.com/teaser_heaven/front/5hv2 I did not put a picture itself as it is quite large (from their website), and you can find a lot more information there.
How much did it cost? This costed me $155 AUD, however they have a good pricing range on that site.
Are you pleased with it? If not, why? I am very pleased with it so far, the microphone is extendable, and can retract back into the earpiece if you wish to use it with your mp3 and not look silly. Additionally I got the USB soundcard version which is $20 more and comes with an attachable 7.1 surround sound USB soundcard (sadly I don't use it much as I left the driver it requires somewhere else, however it is brilliant). The bass on these babies is amazing, and the sound quality is better than that of my logitech X-530's (5.1 surround sound speakers) and that is without the 7.1 surround sound. I use them with my MP3 player all the time as well, and it has a sound control to adjust vollume, and I think what must be volume of your microphone as well.

I have had one problem, the cord (a high-grade insulated one like the G9) has started to come away from the plug, however I will have this fixed soon, it is an annoying problem, however common with headsets. If you can spare the money buy these, otherwise take some Logitech's, hope this helps.
