Call Me Skrumm, Scrummy or Scrum, I don't mind.
Version 3.0.
Have Fun Browsing The Log!
Hello there fellow Sals forumer! My name is Skrumm, and for those of you who don't know my name is Conor in real life. I'm 14, I'm English and I love Rock music, some pop, some metal, but mainly alternative punk and indie. My favourite bands include the Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies, Superbus, Green Day and Hard-Fi. My favourite lesson at school is German, but ICT is good too. I'm generally pretty laid back, and I love to make people laugh - I'm considered naturally funny by many of my friends. I'm quite likeable, but then again I get really annoying quickly. I really enjoy playing football, I basically live for that and for being with my friends.
I started Runescape in 2006 with an account called Englandkid7. I went to the Wilderness with my friend one day, and he killed me for all my things. I didn't moan, I was just a bit annoyed and I stopped playing. In late 2007 I'd been at a Rugby game and after a little bit of shopping had come home. Thus Scrumstar8 was born. I played him twice before getting bored - again - and came back sometime before Christmas. I joined Sals around the same time I'd began to develop my stats. My first real achievement while on Sals was in August, which was my 1000th total level. This was before I had a skill log, and before I was really active. Noone knew about this achievement. Then, I made a log. It was ill fated, it was badly made and I had no grasp of BB Coding (which to an extent is true now). After letting this die out, I went quiet again. 3 months had passed and on the 7th of November, this log was born. It's been a relative success, it's helped me through hard times on Runescape and gives me the incentive to get levels. It was through this log I got 99 Hunter, without you guys I really wouldn't have made it. I got 99 Hunter on the 18th of April, 2009, and then I started going for a trim; 99 Firemaking. 99 Firemaking was a 99 I knew wouldn't be too taxing but I went for it because I felt like it, in all honesty. It has been hard to concentrate but I will do it. Scrumstar8 is the Runescape character I love and he's risen so much during this log, it's brilliant!
Runecrafting is basically THE moneymaking skill and now that I have 2 99s under my belt I think I have a grasp of what I can do. I'll be aiming for 91 Runecrafting with 90 Fishing and Woodcutting as a side goal, with a view to getting a few 99s in quick succession. This is not make believe - I know that I can do it. But with hard work. I will be doing this over Summer holidays and I will be in full swing soon
Before We Go Any Further, I Will Talk About Previous Goals I Have Embarked Upon
I started this log originally with the goal of 99 Hunter in mind. Here is the story of how I got 99
I knew my commitment wasn't good with goals - I gave up on 99 Woodcutting at a mere 76. However I knew I had the staying power for something if I really wanted it, and I loved Hunter.
Here is a quote from version 2.5 of my Log, which I think sums 99 Hunter up nicely:
"It's the full package - I have total fun, it's relaxing, I love the atmosphere of the jungle, I love being able to talk, I like to help out thos budding hunters out there, and being where I am is great, because I can now see how my work has payed off. 99 Hunter may have taken 4 months, but those 4 months were a story of friendship, progress and most importantly, fun"
Date Achieved: 18th April, 2009 Firemaking was a skill I really enjoyed, and I think the fact is, I enjoyed it and didn't care that it was a so called "easy 99" and I thought "sod it, I enjoy it and even if I give up, at 92 there's the Adze and I can use that anyway." It was a worthwhile goal.

It was a decent trim to my cape, obviously less enjoyable than Hunter but Hunter will always be my favourite skill.
Date Achieved: 24th June, 2009 As mentioned earlier in the thread, I am currently working towards 91 Runecrafting with 90 Woodcutting and 90 Fishing as side goals.
Runecrafting is my main goal at the moment, and it will be a fun one to pursue. Long gone are the days where I would bemoan running into the Abbyss, in fact of late I've really started to enjoy Runecrafting. I really don't know why.
Method
55 to 82 - Nature Runes, with a few Double Cosmics for variety after level 59.
82 to 91 - Double Astral Runes, with a few Nature Runes, again for variety.
And then if I pursue this further, at 91+ I shall, of course, use Double Natures.
Woodcutting is something which is a love hate sort of relationship for me - I enjoy it when I can just kick back and relax, but if I'm doing this forcefully it is really boring. That is why I'm training this only to 90, and I'm training it accompanied with other skills.

Method
81 to 85 - Teaks at Tai Bwo Wannai. I shall powercut these getting some Firemaking experience from the Adze
85 to 90 - I will purchase a Dragon Hatchet and cut yews until 90. This should earn me 10m in cash. Fishing is very easy to relax while doing and I think this is perfect to be training with - as I have mentioned the relaxation I will go on a very different road and tell you that this is a skill I have regretted neglecting for a while now, and with Pigman Head, a good real life friend pursuing this as a 99 goal I wouldn't mind accompanying him at Piscatoris Fishing Colony and training with him.

Method
62 to 70 - This will definitely be Shilo'ed, because I have a little bet with Pigman I can get 70 in a day.
70 to 75 - I shall grab a lobster pot and fish lobsters for a little bit of cash, since it is decent cash.
75 to 90 - I will do Swan Song and all the quests needed for it, and then I will fish Monkfish all the way to 90. Unless I go Fishing with Freeplay friends. Please Note: I will only be using Non-Combat skills in this section because I am a very skill based account.
Agility... Agility is a skill I never wanted to train. But I really love it now. I don't know why, it's just such a great skill. This will be important with my Run Restore when I'm Runecrafting, so I can see this will be an important skill to train.
I actually became a member for this skill, and it hasn't let me down. It might be pricey, but I think that's a given really and I love using my house for parties. That's why Construction is a great skill!
Me and Cooking don't seem to be the best of friends - I have a tendency to get bored quickly and Cooking is a long, boring skill. However, it can be fun at times and the chatting is a real plus, so watch out, this could be a future high skill for me. If I want to train it.[/center]
Hmmm.... well I remember when I had 1 crafting. When I was a non member, I did actually have ok stats for my level, but Crafting was never trained, it was almost like a members skill to me. Then, on becoming a member, I stumbled across a thread on the RSOF, which said flax was the way to go for low levels. And, then, whoosh, off I went to try and get some cash. And yes, it gets tedious. But it's double-your-money, so yeah.
Hmm, not an easy skill if you don't feel like perservering. I didn't as a low level, but now I'm reaching intermediate I've started to give it a try, and it's actually alright. Goggie certainly hooked me on this skill.
This is another skill I became a member for, and it has been a relative disappointment. I do enjoy it quite a lot but it is really monotonous and I don't see myself doing loads of it in the future.
I think you could safely say I'm going for a high levelled Runecrafting for a reason. Herblore could be one of them, because I really like the idea of an expensive 99. Pretty fun too.
For some reason I like alching so I'll raise it to 70/80 probably, it's pretty cool.
And no, I don't count this as combat because I usually alchemise or superheat.
I don't know why, but Mining has a reputation of being boring - probably because it is. However now I have my adze I'll try and train this more often, I'd like 85 to be honest. And it's not as if there's a reason for that...
As a low level I didn't know about the Grand Exchange, so I made everything myself. I must have been the proudest level 8 in full bronze, because I loved that set. I still have it in a Grand exchange box (to save bank space) to this day. I think 60 will be an okay level to get to for a while, this might be a future focus - but don't count on it!
Thieving is boring. But Pyramid Plunder is actually pretty fun, so I'll train it using that. Real, you'll need to get 60 with me!!Some people just truly inspire me - and most ofthese are my friends. I would actually be nothing without them. All of these people make me feel happy, support me, and I know I can share problems with them. I'll add you to this list if I feel that you do that.
Choco - You inspired me to make the log in the first place. Not to mention you have awesome conversations.
Real - Lol, the day you quit Real will be the day runescape gets really boring. Big him up comrades.
Reno - She always congratulates me on my levels and is ambitious with her goals.
Helk/Freewill - He is just cool. He truly supports me on my Hunter goal.
Jwl91 - Jwl, you were my first friend on Sals. You have helped me bundles, I'm sad to see you're gone now
Giggles/Giggoe - Giggs, well where do I start? You are funny and have a cool account. A great model for my achievements.
DJ - I first supported Gav on his 99 Wc goal, and he has given me tips on things
Beast - I love just being to be able to Hunt with someone who is pretty similar. You're awesome.
Liam - You're not on Sals but you talk to me and healthy competition is ftw.
Tabt - Tablets, you are just teh win. Apart from poppin my ego
, it's healthy fun conversations of course
Lupin - Lupes is probably the guy who got me doing my current Hunter spree, not to mention he owes me traps. 5!!!
Dan - Another guy not on Sals, but he's a good rl friend too
Pigman - Pigman is probably one of my best friends, nice to see he's started Runescape again
'thingen - We've not known eachother for long, but it's been a fun ride so far and you're a great listener.
Cheezit - Hehe, we seem to have a great time together when we're talking or fming, and that earns you the kudos on my list!
Lalas - Lalas is great to have fun with, and he has flab and moobs - real quote
Gogl - Gogl can have a great conversation with you, although he does annoy me sometimes. But he is cool and he wubs my log.
Stormerrr - Man I've known this bloke for ages and he's not on here. WELLL he is now. Epic supporter. We don't speak much though. Time zones ftl.
Jackyn00b - It's not been long that we've been talking much but we've become a lot closer during our race for 99s. Keep it going!
Ladyyy - Lehdehy!@! I've hardly known you for long but you make me lol all the time. Please make me lol more and stop putting your private off!@! [Close]
