Why should I have a keyboard and mouse without a computer? It is Windows XP Professional.

Because new, they keyboard and mouse cost about $120-150 USD, and if you don't have a particularly good gaming computer. If you were planning to replace it with a low-end system for, say, office work, I'd say bundle it. If you wanted a new gaming build, I'd say keep them and either sell tower-only (saving shipping money) or buy a cheap keyboard and mouse and bundle the cheap keyboard/mouse with it.

Hmm, a friend got something like that brand new with a slightly slower cpu speed (but intel), 320gb hdd, and different screen for $1200 about 18 months ago, so i'd say you'd be looking at around $600~800 including mouse/keyboard
