Hey,
I'm going to probably be selling my laptop [Lenovo T43] on Ebay soon to buy a MacBook. I want to know how much it's worth.

Specs:
  • Intel Pentium M 760 (2.0GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB)
  • 14.0" 1024 x 768 display
  • 60GB, 5400RPM Hard Drive
  • 1GB DDR2 SDRAM
  • CD-RW/DVD-RW (CD 24x Read, 16x Write) (DVD 3x Read, 2x Write)
  • 9-cell extended life battery
  • Ports: 2 USB 2.0, 1 ExpressCard slot, 1 PCMCIA card slot, 56K Modem, Ethernet LAN port, PS2 port, headphone jack, microphone jack, parallel port, VGA out port
Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3
  • ATI X300 Graphics Card with 128MB RAM
  • Intel PRO/Wireless 2915 802.11 a/b/g internal wireless card
Also will come with Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise, and Adobe Web Standard CS3.
The laptop was bought in August 2005, has some scratches on it, some of the edges are worn. We bought it for about $2000 (Dad's estimate, included a hefty warranty too).
I've been thinking to start the bidding at $300, with a Buy-It-Now of $450. Sound good?

Thanks. smile.gif

I find the price you're selling for appropriate. In my opinion, though, it's worth $50 to $100 than you listed it as? It seems as if the software that is included, as well as the updates you made (such as the XP SP3) give it the boost it needs to be worth more than you have it.

Software most likely pirated thats $1700 in programs

If he bought those he should have no need to sell it for a MAC book

The software was not pirated, I'll have you know.
It comes on the school's image for my laptop, and I asked them if I could sell my laptop w/ the software on it and they said "Yes, it's your computer."

I talked it over with my dad and I think we decided on $250 starting bid, with a buy-it-now of $400. Sounds fine.
