I just bought a Sony DCR-SC82 Camcorder and it does not have a battery or battery charger so I've been looking around. I've been looking for a battery and battery charger bundle like on ebay. I see a lot of these NP-FH50 batteries and I would like to know if those can be used on my camcorder.

Did you buy the camcorder from a store like bestbuy or did you get it from a friend?

It should have come with a battery and charger.

If you got it from a store, I'd take it back and get it replaced.

After some research, yes, it appears that NP-FH70, NP-FH50, NP-FH40, NP-FH100 are compatible with your camcorder.

Are you definite? Because I might buy it today and I need to make sure. Can I see where you found it? Not saying that I don't trust you. I'm doing this for my dad and he needs solid, dependable proof.

Under Specifications and then battery (like two lines down).
