I am think about a new laptop and I am wondering if a wireless N laptop will work with a wireless G router.

Yes, it will. I can say that from experience. You just won't get the same speeds as N would give you.

Yes it will work. The notebook, while compatible with 802.11N, will simply run at 802.11g speeds.

Yeah, will run fine, unless it was the other way around. I would still recommend buying a wireless N router for speeds up to 300MBs. I have a Linksys WRT60N and it works great. Its around $80 still I believe.

If you have a n receiver when you g router puts out those extra burst of singles you will get them with a g card you wont get them but you should upgrade to a n router like an apple airport extreme or so.
