Those rate with the mac pro for a windows machine as long as windows handles it put linux on that thing gosh it will be fast as crap.

They dont have any high high end nvidia card.

They have cards optimized for CAD

They're better then any other nvidia cards for what they do.

downsides, that I think I notice
2.33 GHz processer? My 4 year old laptop has more than that.
12GB of system memory, if it is RAM, then that is amazing, but it is is hard drive, it is horrible.
It runs on XP, most computers run on Vista now, and if you go the HP, or some other brand, they don't even stock XP systems anymore.

Not sure if that is really some of the downsides, but that was what popped out at me when I looked at the Tech Specs page of it.

The systems dedicated 4GB RAM per GPU. With these systems, you'd be adding Terabytes of hard disk space. It's certainly not a mini-laptop.

Big deal. Wait for quantum computing. Now that's mind boggling.

CUDA is awesome i'd love to have AMD/ATI support more GPU accelerated apps, and not the video encoding programs that aren't toooo great.
