OK i have been a long time apple fan but lately they are getting worse. There products are good but i hate the phone support.

What your experience with apple. No windows only people please. Though they have been nice to me some and replace almost everything Apple i own including a Mac Pro.

I prefer Windows operating systems over Macs. I've been having to use the Macs at my school recently and I really think some things are more of a hassle. Not to mention Microsoft Office for Macs suck. laugh.gif

That and I've never been one to shell out big bucks for something I can get cheaper. smile.gif

I love my MacBook and numerous iPods. I've been around Macs for a while but took the initiative and bought my MacBook this September. I've loved it. I own four Windows machines at home so I can use Windows if I have to for a specific thing (Publisher, for example). Macs I find easier to use really - I can store our large music, picture and video collections with ease. It also is more intuitive and 'just works'. I can get things done faster on here than a Windows computer.

I haven't had to deal with Customer Service yet but Apple's is ranked highly according to surveys. I guess it depends on which person you talk to.

As I've said many many many times in tech discussion, almost everything Apple makes is quality. Despite if its overkill, overpriced, or if competitors have better features, all my experiences have been good with Apple. Mac Classic, works fine. PowerBook G4, still use it today. Ipod Nano 2nd gen, perfect.

I do admit Apple has many faults though.

Spoiler: Click to Toggle the Spoiler.
But it's also a stylish fashion statement

I'm a mac through and through :-)

They're very simple yet fast and sexy consistent. AppleScript is very good for simple commands.

Yet I agree, their customer support if fail.

thats 2. and thats only the programs. not macs. im saying macs are rubbish. they try to woo you in with shiny stuff and it turns out to be crap. and you can only use mac programs.

so what if they got final cut pro. only professionals will use it. home users wont pay a million $ just for something u can easily use windows movie maker for.

im just saying macs are crap. and if all you can answer back with is that, well, you need to go out and buy summat new bro.

Well, since I've only had iPods I can't really comment. My first iPod Mini died out of warranty and they tried to fix it but they couldn't...wasn't really mad about that.

I MIGHT be getting a MacBook tomorrow, looking foward to that. smile.gif

It was my onboard macbook pro keyboard. it was my fault.

Also, could you please be more clear, your sentences make little to no sense to me.

Yeah I totally agree here. I have never had a problem with all my 10 years of owning a Mac (well longer if you count me not buying my first few).

Never had a problem using iMac's. Only problem for me is their other ranges. Macbooks are wicked I don't understand why not more of the market are going towards the macbook style of things, high battery life, fast processor and portable. (only seen samsung do this)

iPods are kinda meh... each generation doesn't seem to add much new(especially 3g-4g nano) and they still don't address their old problem which is the batteires used.

Never dealed with them, and will never do it either.
The brands i trust in mobile is Nokia.
And in computers its the normal brands. (HP and others)
At photo its HP and Canon, but mostly Canon.
I wouldnt buy a Mac or iPhone or iPod, in MY opinion its only crap.
But you can think what you think, anyway i like Windows too much to change to other OSs.
To get Mac for me would be HORRIBLE, and the reason i dont buy their products is because they have a tooooooo overpriced, killing price.

The reason why Mac only have around 33% is because not many develop to it, and they havent released any program to code in Mac-code or whatever its named.
Windows has a collection to choose from, Visual Studio for C, C#, C++, J.., VB, VB.net.
Thats a good supported developing-community for anyone to try on, which makes it crowded with programs.
The other UNIX systems holds about 5% of it maybe, not completely sure but its very little.

I think they have bad customer service... I also prefer Microsoft OS's than Macs, but you have to admit, the portables are great.
Gryffenclaw
I agree that phone support needs serious help, but online support is awesome. They have Live Chat and everything there.
