I use MS Paint for editing images and Imageahack for uploading them. For a month or so now, whenever I try uploading a .bmp file, after a few seconds a pop-up comes up that says "What would you like to do with this file?" and below it are two options, "Save As:" and "Open". Neither option shows the URL for the picture. It will, however, allow uploads for all other files.

How can I upload .bmp files again?

That's odd. I tried uploading a .bmp on ImageShack after I saw this and I experienced no problem.

Suggestions:
- Save your files in .png from now on. It's a better file type than .bmp.
- Try a different imagehosting website, such as tinypic, and see if the same thing occurs.
- Try this on a different computer, to determine whether it's just a problem on your end or not.
- Try another browser? I have no idea if your browser is messing things up, but you could try in something else just to rule it out.
