Here is a nice 'lil' story for you.

Once upon a time, there was a man named Max1918274753, but we'll just call him Max.
Max started out in Lumbridge with nothing but 25gp, so he set out to earn some money.
Max was chopping logs when he saw another man with a crown on his head, Max asked how to get such a cool item and the man said, "It's a 400million gp blue party hat." Max's mouth dropped open in amazement.
400 million gold coins! He only had 100gp. But Max had his mind set on that hat, and he worked hard to earn enough money for it.
Now, 1 year later, Max has enough money for his hat! Max walked over to the Grand Exchange and put in his order for the hat.
Ding!
Max opened up the collect box and grabbed his party hat then put it on.
Grinning, Max saw a "System Update" Message in the corner of his screen, Max smiled and logged out to see the update.

"Dear players, Jagex is now selling downloadable Party-hats, Santa hats and Halloween mask for 5 dollars each!"

All that hard work, all that time that Max put into getting his hat. Now Jagex is selling them for dirt cheap!

I think that the quest should have had more then 2 exp lamps, make them like 1k each lol! I'm suprised that only one person mad it though... it's usually a team of people who do quests and such! Well thanks for the guide sal, but like always... to late lol!

Hi, brilliant guide. As soon as i saw the guide updated onto the website i went straight onto doing the christmas quest and event...i think it was awesome with the santa suit and emote thanks for the help i appreciate it.

I'm impressed with the quest. just not how long it took to get it up. If it took over 4 days to get on the sal's, is it really a novice quest?
