Okay, so i have a few things to say here...

First of all, i cannot find out how to get music onto movies i make in WMM from Itunes.
Secondly, i heard a rumor that you cannot put clips from a hypercam onto Imovie....is this true?

File > import > browse for the song.

For the second. File > import > browse for the video.

WMM is fine for my needs.

iMovie is for Mac and WMM is for Windows.

I don't really get what you're trying to achieve here slanty.gif

You need a XP/Vista disc and a Mac computer for that, pal.. (Mac isnt permitted to leave a Apple computer..)
iMovie is a part of iLife which is for Mac, and Hypercam is Windows software.
For Windows i recommend using Windows Movie Maker, it seems bad but is actually the best you can get for free. (Without CinePaint, which is a frame editor i will get it when a windows-version is available tongue.gif But its more for experienced graphic artists which make nice out of small tools)

And for Mac you should use iMovie, the only movie editor i know for Mac.. (without Final Cut Pro)

To have a Mac with another OS on is BootCamp, which is Dual-Booting.
Dual-Booting is difficult on a Windows because Windows is made for single-boot.
But for a Mac its easier because its designed to do it.

I'd say iMovie was better, but if you have windows then WMM would be better. Mac has several of its own screen recorders which can easily be used in better quality than hypercam...

I know that I need a mac for the different programs....I'm buying my own laptop soon specifically to make movies etc...I am using the answers from this forum to determine if it should be Mac or PC.

There are free video editors for pc. You can find them out download.com, just search for video editor.

And if you think about how much money you save when buying a pc over a mac, you can easily afford Sony Vegas. smile.gif
