Figures, I just buy a iMac with iLife '08 and now they release '09.

I will probably update to iWorks and iLife '09 later on, too. Wish they had a combo package. Maybe one will come out later.
You could always buy the
Mac Box Set, it comes with updated Leopard, iLife '09, and iWork '09 for only $169.99.
Except I'm in the same sort of situation. I bought a MacBook in September with '08 iWorks and iLife on it running Leopard. So the $169.99 upgrade turns out to be more. There will probably be a $99-129 upgrade that has only iLife and iWorks - hopefully.

The upgrade is $79. I'm probably going to upgrade iLife, as I have Office '08 instead of iWork.
Yes, but I have iLife, iWorks and Office on my laptop. I always want to stay current which isn't good for my bank account. I'll be shelling out close to $200 to keep up to Apple. Wait for a bit, though.

Umm, add $1200 for 8GB of Memory? Doesn't that seem like a bit much?
Apple's memory upgrades are always more expensive. This is overly expensive, though. How much are 4GB DDR3 sticks anyways?
