Intel 945GC chipset
Pentium D 925 3.00GHz
2x512mb Hyundai DDR2 PC2-5300

HP w1907v 19" LCD (very good, would recommend except the power cable can move so it's just out of position and the power goes)

I would have upgraded it with a 9600GT, Corsair CX400W and 2 gigs of RAM, but instead, for Christmas, I got.......

Samsung NC10:
Atom 1.6GHz
1gb DDR2 RAM
160gb HDD
Bluetooth, 802.11g
1.3mp webcam
6hr battery life (more like 5 if I have the screen brightness turned up)
Excellent keyboard, tiny trackpad
Comes with a stylish brown suede-like sleeve
Blue edition!!!

So this year, I will be upgrading my desktop with:

GeForce 9400 GT 1gb
Seasonic 400W
2x1gb DDR2 PC2-5300

I can currently play San Andreas at slow framerates, SimCity 4 at slow framerates and Doom III not at all. With this they should all run fine for my needs (I've never even seen anything with a lot of fps)

I will also, at some point, upgrade my netbook to 2gb RAM, and that doesn't void the warranty unless the memory caused the problem!!
