Some of the guides on sals are just no that great... like the woodcut and runecraaft ones. like the runecraft one has to many methods and not enough tips... any1 here me out der? blink.gif And the wood cut one says nothing about yews which are actually pretty good exp. i cut yews faster than i do maples and they are really good money. i also think they should include items in the guides. like the wood cut one should say when its time to get a d axe and when its time to upgrade between different woodcut spots pirate2.gif aware.gif aware.gif aware.gif aware.gif aware.gif aware.gif

If you feel something needs to be added or changed in a guide, please post that in this forum here. If you feel the need to write a guide or rewrite a guide, do so in their respective forums.

First off, no one cuts Yews faster than Maples. If you want better guides, you have the ability to write them yourself. And the guides are there to "guide" you, not to tell you what to do. A lot of it depends on what you decide to do.

If you don't like a guide don't use it. If you think you can do better, then re-write them.

To quote Veni, you really should use good grammar. It makes the world go 'round.

To me it sounds like you don't want these guides rewritten just updated. I think that's a valuable suggestion, to be quite honest, I'm not a big fan of a lot of our guides. I would suggest doing what Desy suggested if you don't have the time to write them yourself.

There ARE a lot of guides that do need updates (Just got kbd, yay!) But we still need things updated like:
Kalphite Queen
Lesser Demon Hunting (What?)
Merchanting (IDK when Sal is going to put the new merchanting guide on the site)
And so on.
There is a full list in the Guide Re-writes section.
There are some guides that are really just, in general sloppy. But it IS better than the player tips and guides over at Zybez, where the code is just copied off the forum... They look just plain old bad.
But yes there are some pictures and guides on the site that look almost as bad as Zybez's player submitted guides.

You can add what missing here and what guide you need then? If u feel you got a guide in mind then type one here

I dont think the kalphite queen needs an update I just think the pictures may be out of date but if you would like a rewrite id be more than happy to do it.

This tutorial can help you out. After you upload your image on Imageshack, at the bottom of the page is a link called the Direct Link. It may be hidden behind some text that you have to click. The Direct Link is the link you want to use.

If you have other Technology questions or computer problems, you should check out the Tech Talk category towards the bottom of the forum. We'd be happy to assist you. =)

If I recall Neo and myself were the starters of the creature hunting guides, which quickly fell apart as a project simply because there isn't much use unless you can categorize things better.
