Essentially what the title says. Nvidia would be preferred. Windows Vista, laptop.

Well, do you currently have an integrated video card? If you do, then you can't get a new video card. And if you don't, installing the video card will be hard. That's why most video cards that are sold are primarily targeted for desktops.

If it was impossible to get a better one, why would I make a thread about it?

I need a new one, installation = no problem.

your talking crap,

Very rarely can you change the graphics chip in a laptop, your stuck with what you've got.

Take screenie of the motherboard section.

OR, you could post your computer model's info/name.

Don't be too surprised when I come back and tell you one of two things...
1) The chip you're using is soldered onto the motherboard, there is no expansion card, and thus there is no upgrade.
2) It'll cost you $300+, if there is even a workable solution.

No sir. It's IMPOSSIBLE to work with a notebook's motherboard, as it is very hard to uninstall, modify, and very rarely are there any expansion slots. If you're talking about desktops, it's quite easy to modify a motherboard as the connectors and stuff are like... easy - unlike a notebook.

If you want a new video card, you have to get a new notebook.

I see. Never mind then. Though it worked with another laptop.

Well back to my question, is your current card integrated or is it a dedicated card?

They don't sell mobile parts to consumers
