Does anyone know where I can find video editing software that will let me add special effects or computer graphics? (2d ones) The software must be under US $70. It is worth noting that I don't want anything really good or sophisticated. (But if you can find software that good for under $70, tell me.)

You have Movie Maker, which is free and you already have it on Windows.
You also have the ones from Pinnacle, dont know the price, not from USA. sleep.gif (Also Avid, which is a part of Pinnacle)
There is many to choose form, but it also depends on what editting you want, it is frame editors, i know a free one,
you have basic ones, like Movie Maker, and advanced ones, like Pinnacle Studio 11.

Frame editors are for those who want to use 1 frame as a image, and then it takes alot of time too.
Frame editors are good for making a movie with characters that doesnt exist in the actual record.

If you have Mac you have iMovie and Final Cut Pro.

If you look on eBay, you can find older versions (by a year or so) of the Adobe Premiere Elements video editing software. A good lot of them are under $70, and they should all be in mint condition and unregistered so you can go right ahead and easily install it.

Macs come with iMovie, not Final Cut Pro. wink.gif
