Im not sure but why don't you jusat buy a internal harddrive?

You couldn't use it directly for the PS3, you could only use it for functions that a thumbdrive would do. You need a 2.5 inch SATA laptop hard drive to put inside of it to use for demos, games, music, videos and such.

im only wanting to use it to save games onto without having to switch drives everytime i want to play certain games.

I don't know if that would work, but any 2.5' sata laptop hard drive that spins at 5400 rpm should work smile.gif
