I've been noticing that all music videos are being totally pulled off of Youtube. A few major labels have started removing all the music videos they helped to produce. I had to delete 54 of my favorites today because they had been removed (all music videos).
Me and my friend were joking about it after I told him, and he started saying that this could be "The end of Internet Neutrality" but it was all in good fun so I didn't take him seriously.. Now I just want to hear you guys' opinion. Could this be the beginning of the end of Internet Neutrality? (Aka Network Neutrality)

Me too, I noticed a couple of music videos were pulled off. Also, I was watching several rs music videos which didn't even have music. At first I thought my speakers were accidentally turned off, but then I read the page more closely and it said "music removed due to copyright blah blah blah."
I feel that music videos are just a way for more people to appreciate the songs, and after watching, they may feel encouraged to purchase the music videos or something.

I actually watched an rsmv too and the music was gone! I think they're doing it because more and more people are starting to download music from Youtube with those specially designed addons in Firefox and so on. But yeah, it's a little weird because it seemed like it suddenly just happened (imo). I always buy my music from iTunes because I have respect for the people that I buy music from. Anyway - I really find it useful to be able to listen to music and share music easily using Youtube, and if they delete ALL music off of Youtube (unlikely) it'll make sharing music and different things that much more difficult. In my opinion Youtube is a huge community, and if they got rid of music the community would just die a little. Again, that's only my opinion.

Most of the poeple that use youtube use it for listening to music so if they are pulling so much music off i guess people will stop going.
And yes i had to delete some my fav's to becuase they were pullled off.

That's not technically the music that the companies have copyrights to so, I'm almost 100% sure that's a no.

Yeah, Youtube have been taking out sound from videos to help stop copyright infringement. One of my videos has been stripped of sound.

"Aww, that's a great song. You got it on iTunes?"
"Nah, I got their whole album on CD but it got scratched."
"Oh well, let's get it up on Youtube..."

I don't see the point you're trying to make. If you're trying to say that's it's bad that I buy my music legally that must mean someone's a little guilty of what they've been downloading on Limewire.

The thing is, they can just go download the song straight from the record company's youtube account. So the record companies will have to do something about that. Maybe like putting beeps in their music so only the most hardcore people want to listen to annoying music.
