Races
Humans: Just normal humans. Equal amounts of magic essence and strength. Can really become any class they want.
Nix: A bird man, fully in feathers and wings. They have higher amounts of magical essence, while considerably less strength. Considered the secondary race, they have their own language and holidays. Mostly fit for maging and rangers.
Nixan: A cross breed from Nix and Humans. Normaly treated as outcasts in the ancient Nix villages, they are now the same as others. They have a human body, while having Nix wings.
Pheonixan: A Pheonixan was said to be from the Great Red Nix, who was banished from his own tribe, and created a race for his own. Living on the islands around Nithrus, they are not as advanced as the mainland race, and is used for slaves, normaly banned, but Kilyas is allowing slavery again. High amounts of magical essence, but little strength.
Elf: A native to the forests of Nithrus, they have higher magical essence then Nix, and the same amount of strength, while lacking flight. Made for mages and rangers.
Nightmare: A rival to the Nix, they have lower magical essence then Nix, yet more then Humans, and more physical strength then them. They have billowing black bat wings behind them. This class is built for warriors and mages.
Dwarf: Dwarven people are often rather short, yet muscular at the same time. They are well put out for warriors. (For you, Leo.)
Draconian: Half dragons, made by a demented wizard to serve his bidding, yet he failed and they escaped. They made civiliations of their own. Very high strength, yet very small amounts of magic. Definately made for a warrior, even better, a berserker.
NPC only races/Story races
(These races you can only get as the story progresses, or you just can't get them at all.)
Sucubi: NPC only. The death of a powerful female mage often brings this variation of vampire. Often very beautiful, the sucubi can be any race as long as the last life had powerful magical powers, combined with hatred for males. They often search for men, and kill them by sucking their souls, using the fatal Kiss of the Sucubi.
Vampire:Can only be gotten story wise. Vampires are very powerful, and drink blood. Only by being bitten by another vampire can one become one, and inherits part of their strength then, but at the next night fall, they become a full vampire.
Willo' Wisp: NPC only. Once a mage dies, the magical essence in his body makes the blood crystalize, and then exhume a small orange colored gas. If a great number of mages die, the magical essence air, as scholars call it, can form one sentinent being known as a Willo' Wisp. These creatures are insanely powerful mages, being capable of the most advanced magics, even at the begining of their lives, but have no physical strength. Takes absolutely no damage from physical means, unless a enchanted weapon is used.
Half-life: Can only be gotten story wise. Half lives can be any race, and any gender, but has one requirment. It is that they have to have been cast into the Realm of Demons, and come back by their own means (i.e. no necromancy). Barely any Half-lifes exist, but a true half-life has an advantage in magic and strength, and has pure blood, so they cannot become vampires or other sub-races, while they have great life spans. The most notable Half-Life is Zerota.
Classes
Mage: Hardly any standered mages exist, because to master all sides of the magic triangle takes about twenty years of supreme concentration. Mostly, there are three branches which are, conjuration, healing, and necromancy.
-Conjurationist Mage: This branch of mage prefers using powers related to causing damage, weather it be by cursing the opponent, or using damaging spells. They are the only class that can enchant items.
-Healer Mage: This mage prefers using magic to aid their allies, defending them or healing them, these are a valuable groop of mages. These are the only mages that can create staffs.
-Necromancers: This class of mages summons undead minions to do their bidding rather then fight themselves. Although having a bad reputation, there are plenty of good sided necromancers. These mages are the only ones that can create summoning charms.
Warriors: Warriors are fighters of a great magnitude, with great physical strength, stamina, and speed.
-Paladin: A warrior aligned to the side of good, having carisma along with the things that define them as warriors. Can use weak light magic.
-Berserker: A very powerful warrior, prefering to barge right in to battle then have plans, they are worth half a batalion themselves.
-Dragonsalyer: A powerful group, prefering only to fight dragons, and know skills that help them beat dragons espeicaly, but can still fight well against others.
-Swordmaster: A master in the basic sword, they lack as much strength and vitality then others, but have super human speeds.
Rangers: A ranger is a person who prefers to fight from long range, and with daggers. They have okay strength, yet really shine in their dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
-Rouge: A rouge is a ranger that prefers stealing and theivery, often considered evil.
-Assasin: A master of stealth, these people prefer killing through stealth with poisens and ranged then getting their hands dirty. They can often have their services bought.
Others
-Druid: A druid is a defender of nature, protecting the enviroment, whether it being with the king, or the rebels. They have the ability to talk to animals.
-Preist: Speicalists in healing and combat, they try to heal and don't take sides until they can define a ultimate "black and white" relation.
Groups:
Liberation Fronts: Led by Falzar, a second year at the Academy, this group is a unorganized group of rag-tag fighters trying to take down the new king. Highly unorganized, and is really just a bunch of freinds that try and defend and recreate the rebel cities, and Falzar's dream of reestablishing the school. Falzar prefers to go out and try and attack by himself, yet often gives in to help.
Leader: Falzar, Conjourationist.
League of Paladins: The group of Paladins still belonging to the order made this small group of fighters to try and aid cities in turmoil however they can, whether it be with the King or the rebels.
Leader: Gladius, Master Paladin
Rebels: A huge organization of people who oppose the king, and try at every chance to kill him. They have tons of units, spying, fighting, sabatoging, and all of that. They consider the Liberation Fronts a "small kids fantasy about being a true fighter
Leader: Drina, a Ranger
Royal Force: The king and all his forces, combining the Souless, and the royal guards, to create this supreme fighting force. It easily traumps the Rebels with out any trouble.
Leader:Kilyas, Great Lord
Souless: A group that can only be called evil, their main goal is to eliminate the New Gods, and help their leader become a God. They all carry the mark of the Souless, which is a black eye shaped mark, which gives them nearly inhuman powers over magic.
Leader:Zerota, Great Lord
