How do I change the text under my avatar?
You can only change your member title if you are an Admin, Moderator, or Distinguished Member. If you are not in any of those groups, then you can not manually change your member title. However, your member title will change at certain post counts. You can click on your pip to see when your member title changes.
How do I change my avatar and signature?
To change your signature, go to "My Controls", then "Edit Signature" and paste in the code of your image. For avatars, go to "My Controls", "Edit Avatar Settings" and click on "Browse". Find the file of your avatar and click "Open". Then press "Update Avatar". If it still looks like your old avatar, press F5 to refresh the page.
How do I upload an image to my signature?
You need to upload it to one of the following image up-loaders:Where do I get those underbanners that say things like "Fisher for life"?
They are made by people at RuneHq, but you can get them here from this topic:
http://runescape.salmoneus.net/forums/inde...p?showtopic=703
There are also some made from people at this forum, but you would have to look around for it. You could also try requesting a custom underbanner by making a topic in the Requests & Shops section.
Why isn't my avatar changing?
If you previously had an avatar and then tried changing it by uploading a new image, this is most likely because the image is stuck in your browser's cache, which means that even though the new image has been uploaded, your browser still shows the old one. Simply press Ctrl + F5 after uploading your image (while still on the avatar page) to request the server for the newest copy. This should show the new image.
If this fails, clearing your cache (part of your private data), should also work.
When I click on "Change Personal Photo" to try and add a photo, why won't it work?
To have a personal photo, you must be promoted to the rank of Distinguished Member (DM) or higher. Sorry, but unless you are promoted, you will not be able to add your own personal photo to your profile.

Moderators are hand selected by Sals Realm of Runescape staff. Never, ever, asked to become one. It lowers your chances and it's plain ol' annoying.
What are all the member groups?
Here is a screenshot of all the member groups:

I'm a new member and my post which includes a link/email/image is not showing up. Why?
All members with less than 15 posts who make a post with one of those things in it will have their post hidden until a moderator reviews it. The reason we have this is for your safety, so no new members can come and post unsafe links or inappropriate images. It may take a couple hours for your post to be approved. If it takes longer, you may contact a member of the staff and politely request them to review your topic or post.

3. Warn Questions
How do I check my warn log?
When you make a post, look to the left to see your profile information. At the very bottom of that you'll see something like "Rating: < -7 ( 0 ) 7 >". Just click on the number in between the parentheses to view your warn log. You can only see yours and when you try to view someone elses it just shows an error. It's a pop up so your browser might block it.
Here's a picture.
Why is my warn level 1 (or -1)?
A positive warn level, like 1, 2, 3, etc, is bad. It means you have done something you shouldn't have done. A negative warn level, like -1 or -2, means you've done something exceptionally good/helpful. If you have a question about one of your warns, send a PM to the moderator who gave it to you. Check the rules for more details on the warn system.
I got warned for an unfair reason, what should I do?
PM the mod that warned you, (s)he may have a different vision of the situation. And never start a topic, it is considered spam, will be locked, and you can possibly get a warn. Make sure to check the rules too because they'll probably help clear things up for you.
How do I get my warn level reduced?
Post good posts, contribute to the site, and help others. If it's been one month since your more recent warn, you may PM a moderator and request a warn review. The rules explain more about that here.
