1) Why I would like to join: Well I read Sal's newspaper alot, so Joining you guys will be the perfect way for me to improve my writing, I also feel that I'd be able to contribute greatly to the Newspaper.

2) Desired Section: Stories and Poems.

3) My Experience: I'm currently writing a story in the storymat which has over 400 replies and over 7,000 views.

4) My Example: This is from a drabble contest I took place in, it had to be 100 words, and a "word" had to consist of atleast 3 letters, anything lower would not be counted.


As me and my beloved carried on, through White Wolf Mountain, the weather seemed to get worse and worse. The blizzard was unbearable; I had to go on though. Suddenly my love fell. As I held her in my arms I could tell she was suffering from deep hypothermia. She wouldn't die yet. The cruel snow would torture her, and I held her close to my chest.

I put her down and as I withdrew my sword, I mouthed, "I love you." I stabbed her heart. Painless. I fell on my knees and started to cry. The tears froze on my cheek. I couldn't go on. Snow, gentle and graceful, yet at the same time fierce and ready to kill. As I fell down in my place, and the snow covered me, ending my legacy, I thanked the snow. And as I closed my eyes, I smiled.
