I kinda need help with making fake images, i know the basics as i have edited a couple of images of the clan chat interface to what i'd like it to be here - http://runescape.salmoneus.net/forums/inde...=265477&hl=

I just need help with transperancy, i don't have any fancy programs and i'm most capable of making fakes using paint. I'd like to know how to make people on rooftops, or with where you can only see the top half of them and they're drowning or something.

This is a bit complicated, this is what i thought would work to make something like that. I'd take a screenshot of someone, then using the rubber, rub out the sides so you only see the person, using the select thing, select the person and past them into another image, except, the rubber rubs it out white and the white interferes with the background around the person.

Need help please...

Any help is appreciated. cool.gif

I suggest that you use Paint.net or GIMP 2.6.

You can download Paint.net off of www.paint.net (its free) and GIMP 2.6 off of (or gimp.com) Google

I believe most Windows computers come with Paint, right? Xaria already demonstrated how to make the picture you currently selected transparent--the white will be see-through.

If, however, you want to post a see-through image with borders that aren't square (say, if you wanted a screenshot of your character without a background), paint the background that you want to disappear red (or some other color that's way different from your character), go to Iaza (click here) and upload the file, then click the "Transparent" button. It will make your character transparent. Right-click the picture and select "Save picture as" and save it. Note that if you load your new picture in Paint, the background will be black a mix of other darker colors, but if you preview the picture or upload it to Sal's Realm it will be see-through.

Hope I helped. happy.gif
