MechScape is against my sexuality. I oppose it on these grounds:
First, it is essentially a violation of my masculinity in that it involves guns, not the oft-touted power of swords.
Secondly, it is a post-modernist attempt to remove Jagex from the grounds of medieval virtue to an uncertain future full of despair.
Thirdly, it is a shameless attempt to diversify without first receiving the support and assent of the players. No diversification without representation.
Lastly, MechScape is, and will always be, second-class when it comes to work ethic. Certain Jagex sources have mentioned that real-world lucre will play a hand in its development, and I want no part of a materialist perspective in an extraterrestrial removal from "real life."
As this is in the Debate Room, I demand that it fulfills the guidelines self-evident in the resident forum's title and contain dissent and controversial ideas. There is a distinct lack of bickering inherent in this subject, and I intend to rectify that.

You forgot to roll your eyes, so I added some for you.
i will doubt its release till the day jagex adds it to the front page of runescape.
You could have said that this time last year, but the evidence is pretty substantial at this point.
