ISO-METRIC CITY

Hey, as most of you probably know I have done one of these before, didnt go as well as I expected, but this one will be better. The aim is too pixel a large city, owned by everyone, made by everyone. Think of it as a calobration. Too keep you guys going in this there are certain objectives. But first here it is so far.

Pretty blank huh? Thats why we need you!

I will also be participating in this, and I shall do some buildings shortly.

Here are the templates you will be using, or "building foundations" you can use any of these. When the city grows larger, bigger plots will be availible.

The buildings can be related to anything, whether its a bog standerd house, or office building all the way to king kong on the crysler building.

All pixel rules apply, and note that the buidling pixel quality will have to be decent for it to actaully get it. Ill be flexible with the quality.

NOTE: If you make 5 good quality buildings you can make a landmark with a bigger plot before anyone else gets it, and will also (optional) make a banner to advertise it.

All i can say is good luck to you all, looking foward to seeing your buildings.

hmmm.. sounds fun smile.gif

but-

What are the pixel 'rules'?

How big are the buildings? Like can one square fit a mansion, or just a corner of a house?

ill get started right away.

EDIT: Did something a lil simple, if u think it needs more ill edit it.

"What are the pixel rules?"
I thought there was an official Pixel Studio thread containing rules, I'll have a look. Here, I believe

"Can one square fit a mansion, or just a corner of a house?"
The templates shown are the minimum, to maximum size, no smaller or bigger tat those until told otherwise. smile.gif

Hope it helps.

Very good, that means alot actually, try and add some detail and it will look great! Maybe add a little bit around the buildings like a car park or something?

I'm not much of a pixeller these days, and was never 'amazing' but I gave a house a bash.

Edited 1 pixel that made the hedge look wonky.
