Pixel Bunnie
I am looking for a device to record a Skype interview. I need something free and easy to use. Does anyone have any suggestions or could you please post some links where I can download from? I'd appreciate it greatly!

Hey Pixel, if you havn't made up your mind yet, i recommend Audacity.

It is very easy to use, just press the big Red button which starts the recording, and press it again to end it.

Are you sure that records a conversation in skype?

I've never used it with Skype before, but I'm pretty sure it works. http://tryingtofollow.com/2006/03/31/5-ste...-audacity-free/

McAfee's telling me that the site is potentially dangerous. Unless you have tried it before and experienced little to no problems, Pixel might want to avoid that just for safety's sake. But back to the topic at hand, I would just try Audicity. Many people have tried it (with Skype) and it works great. smile.gif

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I think I'll go with that one.

I'll just add my +1 for Audacity, although you might want to get a bit out of date one since the most recent ones can be unstable (Losing a an entire song you worked 3 hours on is not fun sad.gif ). Also if you need any editing help, since sometimes it can be tricky, just ask smile.gif

I haven't had any problems with the latest version.

Plus, why would you work for that long without saving?

I have a bad habit of getting into things and not saving periodically. Has really bad consequences sad.gif
Also, on a side note about Audacity, whenever I export something as a Mp3 (I downloaded the LAME file), it comes out as 1KB and 0:00 slanty.gif Help? Usuallly this doesn't happen.

Have you tried reinstalling Audacity or downloading a new LAME file?
