Im looking for a Program similar to garage band that isnt necesary to buy and is also for windows.

The program above is really good in my opinion. It has great GUI, good add-ons and a wide variety of sounds.

In the free version, you can only work on an entire song throughout. In the full version, you can save as you go and load later. Also in full version, you get more add-ons.

If you can do all the song making in 7 days, there's Acoustica's Mixcraft.

You have to buy it, but you can try it for 7 days, and I'm sufficiently happy with it, although I don't use it much.
