I also have cc cleaner, avg, and spybot search and destroy but i want to make my computer run as new. Also i try disk defragment but i think mines defected because i leave it on all night and when i wake up its still running so any other programs that will do the same job.

start > msconfig > turn off any services you don't use (hide the microsoft ones first) > startup > turn off the ones you don't need. Be sure to google/post here any ones you don't know if you should keep.

Defraggler is a good disk defragmenter. (Made by the same people as CCleaner I think)

Use
Glary Utilities as well, it's an effective cleaning tool. Also use
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and run a quick scan to check if you have any malware in your system.

Download HiJackThis (Free Software sticky), then run a scan and post the results. It'll aid in checking for malicious content like spyware that could be slowing down your system. This is in addition to Bitor's and Redmonkee's posts (though I suggest disabling the startup of programs within the program itself).
Disk Defragmenter built into Windows is incredibly slow so it's wise to look for an alternate like Biscuit suggested.
Edit @ below: Disk Defragmenter takes much longer than other alternatives I've seen. It functions fine, but I just said it's slow. Downloading, moving, and deleting is what happens in everyone's computer. That isn't improperly managing files; it's using a computer.

Agent F: Disk Defragmenter works fine. Generally the problem is, people don't manage their files right, and download a heap of rubbish, and place it in whatever file. They might then delete certain programs, of kernel files to a program, and then Defragmenter, spends all this time looking to move a file, to the location of the rest of them, and it turns out it doesn't even exist.
I've never had any problems with Defragging using Windows XP default programs, but at the same time, I haven't tried any other programs.

Might I also suggest cleaning up any unused programs? And I mean any, if you havent used it in over a month get rid, unless it is absolutely irreplaceable and then ORGANISE. After doing this use windows defragger, it will be a lot faster. Periodically delete any games that you dont use, there should be an option to keep save games, you can if you wish.

First you may want to download an anti-virus/spyware like
AVG.Then, for cleaning useless files up you should use
CCleaner. Also, going to "add or remove programs" in the control panel and removing all the annoying things that probably came with your computer helps a lot.
Finally, use
Defraggler
to defragment your hard drive.
