You have a fairly good drawing style. Not too messy, okay anatomy of a face (but as you said, it's a cartoon).


Thing is, cartoons are really easy and there's no reall skill involved in making them, so I suggest you draw something more advanced, realistic with more details so we can see what you really can do.

I'm not exactly a fan of your style, i recommend researching and analysing other cartoons . It's not a bad cartoon, just not to my particular taste. I think the shape of the face in comparison to the eyes with the ears is what is letting it down the most. The hair, is a little creepy too .

Draw us a cartoon then, if it's crap you can take that back.

A) All drawing takes skill. Especially to do it well. And i will be posting more of my work here tonight.

and true, the eyes a messed up a little bit, but heres the catch

i draw 100% in pen, no pencil start, so it takes alot of skill to get it right without making it look messy. This picture was not edited.

But if you really insist, I might post a work of myself here. Once I get them back because my school is claiming them at the moment.

Really, you need to be able to take critism if you post here. You're always gonna think your drawing is the very best and nobody beats it, but that's no reality.

I'm sorry, but there are people who make a living from drawing cartoons. It wasn't critism, it was an insult to all the professionals who spend their time drawing them.

Saying there is no skill to draw a cartoon is pretty arrogant, and yes you do need to prove yourself on drawing, if you're going to make statements like that, you need to at least back them up.

What are you talking about, nobody in here is thinking their drawings are "the very best and nobody beats it".

Pick 10 people and let them draw that kind of picture. Look at the outcome.

Seriously, they cant draw a circle with no straight line or a imple square to save thier life. ill try to replicate something a classmate did, and the way uve all been goin, id be suprised if u didnt tell them to kill themselves cause of thier work.

Do not talk about other ppl's skills, its rude and just plain annoying.

" i can draw better than that" or "that looks like a 5 min sketch to me" is just a plain stupid thing to say, how much u wanna bet u didnt pick up a pen and paper and draw like divinci? Its all progressive, some ppl just arent as far as others.

Woudl is be any different if i say this was my first ever drawing? yes it would... U'd all be like "fantastic drawing for ur first" as it is in the pixel studio, u see all these 'first pixels' and they get nothing but praise, but if they say they been at it for a while u'd all throw a bunch of junk in thier face.

It's harsh, and if you're not willing to accept that, you won't get very far as an artist. I know how hard it is, so don't act like I don't realise what it is like. I was once in your position, so don't try and lecture me about why everyone should treat you really kindly.

It's your first, it's bad, if it is your first it's bound to be bad, I think you're going to accept that your first pieces aren't going to be great. And the pixel studio only give 10/10 for everything, because they don't know what they are talking about and can't make decent pixel art themselves, and that is the truth. If people only gave you 10/10 for everything, you'd think that your art is perfect and you wouldn't need to change anything, when in reality, there are alot of improvements you can make.

I'm being serious now, if you keep that attitude you won't do well, people won't be as willing to give you critism and you will lose out. If you want to be good, you have to go through some bad patches.

And making something like that doesn't take much skill. Sorry if it is rude or annoying to you, but it's a fact, and it's not only me who will give you hassle for your art.
