Long ago, there was a strong tension between the nations of Drodbur (As in the Drodbur Ocean). So strong that each nation did not trust the others to enter its own unless there were soldiers set to guard them. All were sure war was on the brink, unless a peace treaty was founded. Unluckily this was the age pirates were starting to appear. Before the treaty was finished, a battalion of soldiers discovered some pirates and were slewn by them, and these were soldiers of the Darkalian Empire, one of the two nations who didn't sign the treaty. The emperor of the Darkalian Empire immediately blamed the Alliance, or the group of nations who signed the treaty, and declared war on them. And still the war continues to this day...

Pyrates - Pirates have never really been able to cooperate enough to form a group. Until now, that is. The war has become so dangerous they've had to band together just to survive, when before they could thrive as just a captain, his ship and his crew. Their only goal is to gain recognition and wealth, as is the goal of all pirates. Some of them are after the Cursed Cutlass, which they think can help them in this goal, but not all are stupid enough to do this. The Pyrates are lead by the notorious General "Black" Danhon.
Darkalian Empire - The group that was second to blame for starting the war. The empire's only goal is to expand by forcing the other nations under its rule, which Emperor Tyranno thinks can be accomplished by attaining the Cursed Cutlass. So watch out... The Darkalian Empire is consisted of Darkalia, and Warria's Islands, which the emperor forced under his rule.
Alliance - The group who is interested in defeating the Darkalian Empire, signing a peace treaty between all the nations, creating an era of peace and prosperity, and preserving the culture's of all these nations, and to do this they believe they must stop the emperor from attaining the cutlass, doing so themselves and then destroying it. The Alliance is consisted of Allumia, Bardun, the Scaleback Islands, and the Serpent's Chain Islands.
Demonic Crusaders - A strange group of demonic humanoids who have emerged from a strange portal leading from a dark realm. The Demonic Crusaders only goal is to purge the land of all non-demonic lifeforms and to expand their empire into the Drodbur Ocean. The Demonic Crusaders are led by a dark man named General Eldeld.
Defenders of Skullrock - A group of the ghouls who were brought back to life by the dark powers of Skullrock Island, and the various undead that they control. They do not wish for the emperor to take their cutlass, for if he does he'll gain control of all the ghouls and their undead, nor for the Alliance to attain it. If they don't destroy all of the ghouls while they try to get it, the ghouls will surely be destroyed once the cutlass is, for they need it to survive. They wish only to exist and to keep their free will, and they'll stop at nothing to do so.

RacesSpoiler: Click to Toggle the Spoiler.
Sea Elf - These humanoids are the distant relatives of the woodland elves (Who are thought to be extinct). Like them, they have pointy ears, are slender and muscular, and are slightly shorter than humans. Unlike them, their skin comes in various shades of blue, their hair in various shades of green, sometimes pure white, and they have slightly-webbed hands and feet. They are agile, athletic, dignified, and appreciative of beauty, especially if it's the beauty of nature. Which reminds me that they can also speak to nature telepathically. They're best trained in using weapons that pierce, such as arrows and spears. An elf with a bow's more dangerous than an elf with a gun.
Goblin - These humanoids are the descendant of orcs (Which are thought to be extinct). They have pointy ears, sharp teeth and sharp black claws, dark green skin, and dark hair. They are as tall as humans and are muscular. They're athletic, brutal, and bound to keep their honor. They're best with bludgeoning and cleaving weapons, such as clubs and axes.
Dwarf - These are humanoids that are the most ancient in the world. They're slightly taller than half a human's height, and they're squat and muscular. They have the same skin and hair variations as humans. The most prominent feature of a male dwarf is his beard, which is large, long, and well-groomed. They are great warriors, they're athletic, they're honorable, and they're respected. They're the greatest builders and constructors of all the races, and are known well for it. They're best with bludgeoning weapons, cleaving weapons, and guns, such as hammers, axes, and rifles. Unlike the other races, who use sailships, dwarves use large metal ships powered by steam and stockaded with tons of cannons and extra guns.
Ghoul - A ghoul was once a member of one of the four races (Dwarves, sea elves, humans, and goblins), whose body was washed up onto the shores of Skullrock and brought back to life by its dark and mysterious powers. A ghoul looks like a member of one of the four races it originated from, except for a few differences. Ghouls always have white skin, black hair, sharp black nails and sharp teeth, and pointy ears. Their wounds never truly heal, but instead scar or scab over, depending on the severity of the wound. They can grow most of their body back, even most of their vital organs. But if you destroy their heart, brain, or both their lungs, or sever one from the other two, they'll die. They are savage, remorseless, and driven to protect their existence and their freedom...
Demon - A strange humanoid that has come to this world from a strange dimension. Their skin comes in various shades of red, sometimes pure black, their nails are black and sharp, their teeth are sharp, and they have black hair. They all have tails, and some of them have large, bat-like wings protruding from their back, to fly with. They also have various black and bone-colored horns, spikes, spines, and other similar appendages covering their body. They are savage, remorseless, and they believe they are better than any other life form that exists.

This RP does contain magic, if you hadn't noticed, so you can be a magic-user. But remember that this setting takes place in one that is similar to the same time that the pirates existed in the movie Pirates of the Carribean (No, this RP is not based on the movie. I was just using it as a reference). That means that there are guns, and cannons, but they were early guns, such as muskets. And most of your time in this RP will be spent on ships in the ocean, on small islands, and maybe in port cities. Very little time will be spent on the mainlands. Ok, I know how much you guys hate filling out complicated character forms, so instead I made a simple one...

Can't get more simple than that. When you're making your character, please include as much information as you can and want to it, or I may be forced to not accept you. I really don't want to do that. Now, here is mine...
Character Description: Scorpion the human was born in the Darkalian Empire, but was stolen by a group of pirates to be their slave. Through the years he proved himself to them and slowly made his way through the ranks, and is now the first mate, second only to Captain Victorus, so he belongs to the Pyrates. He has black hair; bright blue eyes; is tall, slender, and muscular; has tanned skin; and one of his eyes has no iris or pupil and is pure white because of an old injury, so he wears a black leather eyepatch over it. He has a white shirt; a black leather jacket; black pants; black boots with silver buckles; a bandana that's black with a white jolly roger; a steel cutlass with a gold handle which he keeps in a red sash; and various gold jewelry with sapphires in them. He's calm most of the time, but goes into a rage when you manage to get him mad, and he's also wise and jovial. His name he tells no one, but he's called Scorpion on account of him being bitten by one of the most deadly scorpions once, surviving, and from then on being almost immune to all scorpion stings.

Character Description: Leo Crimson was born in the city of Lenip, Bardun. His father had been a merchant, selling weapons and goods to members of the Alliance, though his customer area extended to anyone. One day, the senior Crimson was killed by soldiers of the Empire, whom were tired of paying. To avenge his death, Leo quickly forged himself an axe and a machete, then went after the soldiers. That night, he decapitated both soldiers and left their bodies on the shore with a sign that read, "Do not toy with the people of Bardun." Since then, he has become a hero, but for some reason the Empire never bothered to hunt him down. Though he is politically independent, he occasionally helps out the Alliance and other anti-Empire groups. His main weapons include a red axe, a machete, and a rifle. Leo also wears baggy pants, a light chainmail, a green cloak, leather boots and gloves. He also has an orange beard and moustache.
Hope that's good; I look forward to roleplaying in this.

Weird...different... I like it.
Character Description: Calcifer Stone is a Sea Elf who appears to be in his late teens. His skin is a very pale blue, his hair not much darker. His hair is messy and falls loosely around his shoulder blades. His eyes are a blue-green hue. He is slim and fit, with muscle clearly visible beneath his skin. He normally wears dark blue loose leggings, thicker black boots that reach about halfway up his shins, a thick black belt, and a dark cerulean longcoat, reaching his ankles; all of his clothing is made of a mix of deep sea materials and shells, making it lightweight, durable, and not very restricting under water. On both sides of his neck are tattoos of gills, a symbol that each member of his family wears. He keeps a thin cutlass made of different underwater materials hooked onto his belt, which he has been trained to fight with to an extent. Calcifer also has a magic potential locked away within him; it has been revealed by the fact that he can manipulate water to an extent. He wears a somewhat thin dark cerulean headband lined with gold to try to keep his long hair out of his face; even so, it often covers at least half of it.
Calcifer comes from a somewhat richer family from the Serpent's Chain Islands. He decided to leave home when he turned 17, believing he could help fight in the war. He has been known to work as a mercenary and spied on the enemy; however, little is known on how he does it or why he has never been captured. He is currently working for the Pyrates under one of his many aliases, Charles "Charlie" Walker.
I know I didn't explain much about his magic, but I've got an idea on it, and I don't want to reveal it. I'll PM it to you, Scorpion.

Character Description:
Wolf was an acclaimed Admiral in the Allunian Navy. At the young age of 19, he became a Lietenant Commander after a great victory in a skirmish with the one of the most terrifying pirates at the time: "Admiral of the Fleet" Samuel Redwood. "Admiral" Sam had taken one step too far, taking his fleet of three ships against a small convoy of five 32 gun schooners. In the fog, the pirates attacked the leadship, killing the Captain, and sinking it. In the midst of the turmoil, the then Midshipman Wolf emerged, and took command. His tactics came natural, and he quickly organized a counter-attack. In the end, the three pirate ships was captured, along with notorious "Admiral of the Fleet" Sam. He jumped up three levels in rank.
Wolf currently commands the 3rd Division of the Allunian Navy, consisting of fifty-six warfit Ship-of-the Lines. His flagship is the 102 gun, three deck, three mast First Rate Ship-of-the-Line HMS Doluna. The fleet is currently floating off the coast of Atirr, while the Admiral of the Fleet and the majority of the Allunian Navy is in and around Basyli.
Wolf is human, about 6' 3", with brown hair. He is about the age of 29. He wears Naval uniform, and carries a rapier and pistol. He grew up in Atirr, in a middle-class family. Now, his family has quite a bit more money, and still resides in Atirr. Wolf resides in Atirr as well, in a seperate residence.

Character Description:
Jaden Hunt was once a junior blacksmith, and became a pirate because a person raided his shop and stole his weapons, leaving him with his trusty blade. After seeing a pirate ship raid a large ship and get a lot of loot, he joined and became a high-ranked pirate on Freedom because of his skills with the sword, and his size. He's young, fiery, energetic, and can be reckless at times. He treats everyone equally and in return receives praise. Jaden is the only human on board Freedom, which is filled with dwarves. Jaden towers a little over his fellow dwarves since he is 6'5. He has a pale complexion, black medium length hair that goes a little past his ears and touches his neck, and has black eyes. Has a strange scar on his cheek. He doesn't have a beard since he shaves. He has made even more upgrades to his blade than before, and made a name for it, The Rebellion. He uses his pistol on special occasions, but prefers close combat. Jaden is only 23 years old. Doesn't really look like a pirate because of his clean appearance. Wears a light blue jacket with a white undershirt, a pair of black flares, and has large, spiked brass knuckles in his pockets. Has a strange ring that changes from it's usual white to gold.

You're accepted, Atomic. I think that now I'll start the RP...
IC: Scorpion walked up to the stall with a red-bearded dwarf, who was selling guns and ammunition. "Hello there, sir. May I interest you in some of my wares?" he asked.
"Actually, yes. I need a gun, 'cause mine got dropped into the ocean during a fight."
"Well, I got all sorts of guns, and ammunition. What did ya have in mind?"
"Well, the gold and blue flintlock pistol kinda caught my attention. I'll take that and a couple bags of ammunition."
"Of course. That'll be 25 gold coins, good customer." said the dwarf with a smile. So Scorpion took out his bag of gold coins and gave it to the dwarf. There was about 30 coins in it, but he didn't need the extra 5, so he just let the dwarf keep it. That made him happy. Then he grabbed the items he bought and turned to look at the other stalls in the somewhat-large market. The market of the shifty port city of Arder, Bardun stood before him, where pirates were welcomed, as long as the citizens did not get any proof they were pirates, otherwise they'd be forced to turn them in.
Scorpion walked back to his ship, and saw that none of the others who were on shore leave were back, so he turned back around and started exploring the small port of Arder, and eventually made his way to a bar. If there was one thing dwarves were famous for, besides their craftsmanship, it was their ale-making skills. So he ordered a drink and waited. He'd have to enjoy the shore leave while he could, 'cause as soon as it was over they were going back into battle. The bartender handed him his drink and he handed the bartender the money for it, and then he started drinking up. It was pretty good, and he could see why dwarves were famous for it, but he preferred his rum.

IC: Sitting on his stool, Leo ran the machete over the sharpener then back. Repeating the action for 5 minutes, he took one good look at it and was satisfied. Sheathing it and dropping the weapon on the table, Leo went to his closet. Reaching in, he took out his rifle and blew off the dust gathering. About time I put this thing to use. Grabbing the machete, he strapped it to his belt, slung his axe on his back and loaded the rifle. Opening his door, he cocked the weapon and walked down the road to the port. Ah, the smell of Lenip. Humming a familiar tune, he watched out for Empire soldiers.

I feel like adding two small things to my app: a deep blue shirt (dunno) and a bow made with a mix of magic and a rare tree only found on the Serpent's Chain Islands (he didn't have anything ranged, so I hope it's okay to add those).
IC: Calcifer walked quietly through the port city of Arder, a thin piece of paper in his hand. He stared down at the poor handwriting of the man who had paid him; he had assigned Calcifer to work on a ship for one of the Pyrates, stating that he would need his help in the coming months. The man had reminded him faintly of another man he knew far too well... He shook the thought from his head as he peered at the paper again. He had thought about asking someone about it, but knew it would mark them both as pirates, which wouldn't be good. Besides, the man who paid him had also said that "he would know him when he saw him." He sighed and continued searching, stopping to look at several small trinkets from stalls along the way.
OOC: He's searching for Scorpion. If you couldn't tell, he's also easily distracted.

Wolf stood on the bow of the HMS Doluna, looking out to the sea, scanning the horizon.
"Sire, are you positive that this is a good idea? It's a clear day, nobody is going to attack an entire armada right off the biggest port around."
Wolf turned to face a sailor.
"I'm positive." Wolf then turned back to face the ocean, and continued "We wouldn't be here if I thought nothing would happen."
The force of heavily armed Ships of the Line had been stationed in Atirr Bay, at Wolf's request. He had gotten wind of a possible Darkalian attack on Atirr from a highly trusted source.
"I see something on the horizon." Wolf again turned to the sailor, who was about to leave. "Rouse the men. Be on alert."

Calcifer is looking for Scorpion. Cal was paid to come and work for Scorp. I'll probably have some magic thing be attatched to the note, like the words change to something only you can see (a message like "To repay my debt," or "He's your problem now," or "I'm leaving you. ). The spell on the paper also makes it so that if anyone holding the paper sees Scorp, they'll know it's him.

Ok, then. I guess I'll just wait for you to IC again, then, since you're looking for me, and not me for you.
EDIT: IC: Scorpion exited the bar, and was just about to find an inn, when a dwarven woman ran past him screaming, "Kraken! Kraken! A kraken's attacking the bay! Help us!" Scorpion pulled out his cutlass and ran towards the bay, hoping his ship wasn't the one being attacked. Luckily it wasn't, but he saw the kraken attacking an Alliance ship, which had pulled into the bay. They must have disturbed it. Then the kraken wrapped its many tentacles around the ship, and crushed it, and all the pieces fell into the ocean, either floating away or sinking to the bottom. A bunch of the soldiers had pulled off their armor and jumped into the water, and then began swimming to shore. The kraken then swam to the next ship and started attacking that one. Then Scorpion realized if he didn't stop it it would surely attack all of the ships in the bay, his included. He yelled at the crowd gathering around to watch, "Men of the Black Serpent, to the ships! Let's destroy this thing!" When he said that, several piratical men, his crew, jogged away from the crowd towards his ship, the Black Serpent.

After a rather long walk, Leo arrived at another city. Hmm...part of this place smells like pirate. Entering, he noticed many of the people, mostly pyrates, seemed to be in a hurry. "I wonder where they're going?" muttered Leo. Jogging, he followed some to the docks, where there were many ships. As soon as Leo arrived there, his jaw dropped. A kraken seemed to be destroying a small group of ships by crushing them. Shocked, Leo unlimbered his rifle and aimed it. A shot went off but missed the kraken. Without reloading, Leo saw a crew of pirates running towards a ship. Quickly running to them, Leo caught up with the leader. "Mind if I help you guys beat that monster?"

"Alright, dwarf. You can help us, as long as you don't get in our way." said Scorpion. Once the crew was aboard the ship, the Black Serpent, he ordered them to ready the cannons, and so they did. Then he said, "Ready... Set... Fire!" and the men shot the cannons. Most of them missed, a few of them bounced off the creatures tough hide, but two of them made their home deep in his flesh. One shot right through one of his tentacles and another at the base of another tentacle dangerously close to his body and head. The creature screamed in pain then crushed the ship he'd been attacking. Then he went onto the next and attacked that one.

Cal felt a strange power flutter through him when he saw the man shouting for the "Men of the Black Serpent" to attack. He must be the one I was sent for. He rushed after the crew and boarded the ship, unnoticed in the commotion of the battle. He pulled his bow out, never even knocking an arrow, and began to pull back. Suddenly, The feathers of a silver-blue arrow began to appear, followed by the shaft and the arrowhead. It gleamed in the light as he loosed it at its target. A somewhat deep gash, similar to that of the cannonballs, tore into the kraken's side; however, it would be though of another cannon hit, rather than that of a magic bow. He smirked as he pulled back on the bowstring once more.

Turning his gun, without aiming, Leo fired off everything he had, but mostly missed.

"Captain on deck!" cried a man behind Scorpion. He quickly turned around to see his captain, Captain Victorus, arrive. Everyone on the deck, except Scorpion and the few people who'd not heard of Captain Victorus's deeds, seemed to cower a little as the captain approached. He was quite the ominous man. He wore black boots with golden buckles, a black shirt, black pants, black metal gauntlets, a black cloak with a hood, and alot of golden jewelry with various gems. He had very tanned skin, dark brown almost black eyes, black long hair with a long beard and mustache, and he was tall and muscular. When everyone was silent he said, "Alright crewman. Bring out the dragon's cannon." Suddenly several crewmen got to work doing various things about the ship and Scorpion sat silently with a smile.
Then a hatch in the deck opened, and a platform raised up with several men pushing a large cannon, which was the biggest cannon you've ever seen. And it had a chinese-style dragon made of pure gold curled around its black metal body. The crewmen pushing it then backed away and the captain continued pushing it to an open spot in the deck's wall. Then he pressed his palms against it where imprints in the shape of hands were, and then his eyes glew red as he sent pure pyronic energy through it.
A large black metal ball fired out and made its home below the flesh of the kraken. This only angered it more and it swam towards the Black Serpent, weaving in and out of several other ships, with terrible ferocity. The captain thrust his fist out into the air towards the beast, and then opened it quickly.
Then the kraken exploded in a horrible maelstrom of fire, and it was no more. No doubt this deed would be passed down through the generations, to become legend down the line. The captain began staggering, terribly worn out after such a deed, and Scorpion caught him before he fell.

Calcifer lowered his bow, letting a nocked arrow dissipate into the air, as he saw the gruesome spectacle. Well, I'd rather not get on his bad side... I wonder if I could do something like that... He shook his head in an attempt to rid the thoughts from his mind as he remembered the paper he had been given before. He walked up to the one the paper registered as the reciever, and pulled the thin square of paper out. "Excuse me, Mr... Scorpion?" That's a weird name... Wait... After a moment, he remembered where he had heard the name before. Several different crews he had been hired to work for before had told legends of him, saying how he was immune to all poison and disease; some even went so far as to say he was immortal. Nothing but a load of rumors... He looked Scorpion in the eye again as he held out the slip of paper. "I was hired by an old man a couple days back; he said you would be arriving here and I was to meet you around here. He also said that you should have this." He held out the slip of paper, waiting for Scorpion to take it.

IC: "Ah, never mind." The target that Wolf had spotted was not a immediate or apparent enemy. "Probably another pirate," somebody suggested.
"This is indeed fruitless. Let's move out. Signal the fleet," said Wolf. He stepped down from the bow of the Doluna and made his way to the helm. As Wolf reached the helm, he yelled out to the crew "Set the charts for Bardur. We've lost time, chop chop!"
The sails unfurled and the HMS Doluna and fleet made it's way.

Then Scorpion turned to the man. "Alright, then. You're hired. Don't let us down."
"Scorpion?" said a voice right next to his ear, coming from the captain.
"Yes, sir?"
"I need you to get everyone into the meeting room. We've some war business to discuss."
"Of course, sir." With that, the captain hobbled down a hatch, making his way to the conference room. Scorpion yelled above the talk, "Alright, everybody! To the meeting room! That includes you, Calcifer." and with that, Scorpion went down the hatch, as well.

Looking around at the other pyrates, Leo shrugged and followed the pirate known as Scorpion and another person who seemed to be the 'hired man'. Walking up to Scorpion, he tapped him on the shoulder. "Could I join you guys for a bit? I don't have any place to go," he asked.

"When there's nowhere else to go, people often become a pirate. Who am I to say no? Just don't get in our way, as I've said before, and don't try to leech us for info or backstab us later on." said Scorpion to the dwarf whose name was Leo, and then he waited for the captain to speak. When everyone had settled down, the captain began to speak, rather weakly after his deed with the kraken. "Alright, crewmen, and new recruits. I'll keep this straightforward. We've been assigned to go and find Skullrock Islands, and retrieve the Cursed Cutlass."
"No offense, but are you crazy, captain?" asked Scorpion. "People have searched for that island for millenia, and not a single thing's been found out about it."
"Yes, but we've found new information. From what we've observed of the ghouls locations and paths through the ocean, we've deduced that Skullrock Island is southeast to this port. Very much southeast. We'll need quite a bit of provisions, which I have taken the liberty of stocking up on. We're ready to head to the general direction of Skullrock Island. Alright, crewmen. Get this ship moving. We must get going right now, for I've gotten reports of Alliance ships headed this way." With that, the shipmen went about doing their business.
"Scorpion?"
"Yes, sir?"
"I've had quite an ordeal. I'm going to need you to run the ship while I rest for a while. Alright?"
"Of course, sir."
After a while, the ship started moving, and Scorpion made his way to the deck and started giving orders to the crewmen.

Calcifer paled slightly at the mention of Skullrock Island; however, because of his extremely pale skin, it was mostly unnoticable. He shook it off and moved onto the deck, trying to help wherever he could. Damn... I feel I'm going to regret ever taking that man's gold...

OoC: Gonna do a slight timeskip here. Ok?
IC: Scorpion looks out towards the horizon, over the vastness of the ocean that lay before him. Less than an hour ago the remnants of Bardun and several islands farther southeast from that had disappeared over the horizon. Scorpion closed his eyes and let himself feel the salty sea air whip against the skin of his face as the boat trudged on. Then he opened his eyes and looked at the water, and almost jumped out of his skin. Down below, he could see quite a bit of shadows of sharks swimming through the ocean water. He sighed in relief. There's no way the sharks could harm them while they were on the ship. Except these weren't normal sharks.
Suddenly one of them jumped out of the water, and with his hands--yes, it had hands, and legs with feet--grabbed onto the side of the ship, carrying a cutlass in his teeth. The other ones did the same, and soon a few of them made their way to the ship's deck after Scorpion warned the men to get ready for a fight and they did. Scorpion ran at one and thrust his sword into it's heart, killing it. But several more of these... "weresharks"... made their way to the deck, as well.

Calcifer scowled as he pulled free his bow. He called forth the water in the air around them, forming an arrow made of ice and magic, and pulled back. He launched it at one of the weresharks, hitting their arm, leaving a long, jagged slice in their skin. It turned towards him, a disfigured expression that Cal assumed was anger, and rushed forward, holding the cutlass with it's uninjured hand. Cal smiled, slipping his bow away, and grabbed the grip of his cutlass with his other hand. He ran a hand down the edge of the cutlass' blade, which was rather dulled; as he pulled his hand away, the edge was new again, looking as if it had never been used. He pulled it up to block an attack by the wereshark before kicking him away. The wereshark growled and charged again. This might be some fun after all.

Grunting, Leo found himself engaged in a test of strength between one of the weresharks. It had it's cutlass near Leo's throat in it's left hand, and the dwarf was trying to stop it from killing him. Finally, Leo was able to wrench the weapon out of the monster and drove it home. Without withdrawing the cutlass, he unlimbered his axe and charged at another. Easily decapitating the wereshark, he kicked the headless body off the deck, then turned his attention to another. Man, there's a lot.

Scorpion pulled his cutlass out of yet another wereshark he'd slewn. Then he noticed one of them was leaping at the dwarf, Leo. He quickly took out his pistol and shot it in the head, instantly killing it, and it fell to the floor of the deck and didn't move any longer. Then a giant thud was heard as a rather large wereshark jumped onto the deck from the side. It wore tons of jewelry of all sorts and had a huge falchion. It then lunged at Scorpion, 'cause it thought he was the captain after he'd given so many orders to the crew.

This is exceedingly annoying, there's nobody to roleplay with, when nobody is in Allumia. -_-

You could somehow end up meeting with us. Like you're sent on a scouting mission, or you've been sent to destroy an Alliance fleet which is following us ('Cause there is one following us, using us to find Skullrock Island), or even sent to destroy us, because we're pirates.

Calcifer was busy unlatching a pendant from around the wereshark's neck, already having looted a gem in its blade's hilt, when he heard a thump behind him. He turned in time to see a much larger one of the creatures, most likely the leader, come on board and rush Scorpion. He slipped away from the battle, hidden by magic, and moved to a higher point. He pulled free his bow and focused. That old man gave me an idea.

As the wereshark writhed and died, Leo turned to Scorpion. He was about to say "Thanks" when the word got stuck in his mouth. A rather large wereshark, mostly likely a chieftain, had just leaped onto the ship. Lunging for Scorpion, its teeth looked poisonous. "No!" shouted the dwarf as he whipped out his rifle. Jamming a round in quickly, he aimed it at the chieftain and pressed the trigger. The wereshark howled in pain, but the bullet seemed to have little effect. Turning to Leo, it snatched up a scimitar lying near a dead pirate. Snarling, he charged at Leo. Yelling a battle cry, Leo readied his own weapon and ran at the chieftain.

He placed a hand on the ground, calling forth a piece of wood about the size of an arrow shaft. He pulled a bit of moisture from the air, forming an ice tip. Then, he summoned air, to help it break the beast's skin. After one more step, he looked at the beast and focused. Do not fire it, release it He loosed the arrow. It moved with deadly grace, reaching its target, the beast's right arm, in less than a moment. The wereshark let out a roar, but otherwise seemed to ignore it.
Calcifer let out a sigh. Now for the second step. He lifted his hands toward the arrow and focused once more. He began a chant in a voice lower than a whisper. Slowly, it rose in volume and intensity, until it became an angry roar. His palms shone bright orange, like heated metal, as he shouted the last few words. Suddenly, the weresharks arm, around the arrow's point of impact, seemed to burst, ripping off the arm from halfway down the upper arm.
Sorry if posts don't merge.
Continued IC: Calcifer fell to his knees, smoke rising from his palms, as the ond-armed wereshark roared with rage and pain. His vision seemed to weaken, no longer aided by magic. Damn... That must've been costly for it to drain me of that... Hey, it could be worse. His current destination came to mind. But not by much.

As the wereshark continued to fight with incredible stamina, Leo looked towards the person know as Calcifer. The person fired an arrow into the monster's arm, but it didn't do much damage. The dwarf readied for an attack, but hesitated when he saw the elf concentrate on what seemed to be a spell. A moment later, the wereshark's arm was ripped off. Grimacing, Leo noticed Calcifer seemed to be weakened badly. "Hold on!" he cried out. As the wereshark snatched up another cutlass and lunged for the elf, Leo blocked the attack with his scimitar. Using his strength, he pushed the monster back, throwing it off balance. "Scorpion, I need help!" he called out.

In a flash, Scorpion rammed his body into the beast, causing him to stumble backwards and trip over a rope. He took the opportunity to raise his cutlass over his head and ram it down into the beast's heart, killing it. He sighed and wiped the sweat from his brows, thinking it was over. But it wasn't. Suddenly another wereshark jumped onto the deck from the side. This one was wearing animal skins and bones, and appeared, to Scorpion, to be some sort of shaman. In a highly mangled and glutteral voice, it said, "In the name of Skullrock Island, kill the ones who seek to destroy us!" before it launched at one of the crewmembers. The wereshark Scorpion had just slewn was not these weresharks leader. The shaman was. And they knew they were seeking Skullrock Island, and the only reason to attack them for it was if they were on the right track. Scorpion smiled and lunged at the shaman, but it sidestepped and hit him with its wooden staff in the back.

Carlisle shook as he slowly pulled himself to his feet. He used a wooden pole to keep his standing balance. He looked down at the newly arrived wereshark fighting Scorpion. Damn... Looks like I wasted my effort... He pulled his bow free and looked at it. I'm too weak to make another arrow... Looks like I'm doing this the old way. He slipped a hand into his longcoat and pulled free a slim, long quiver lined with silver. He unlatched the top, pulling free several metal arrows. He held the arrow with one hand near the thin shining feathers and placed another near the tip. He ran his fingers across the tip, cutting them, and ran them down the shaft, leaving blood across it. He whispered a short phrase quietly, and suddenly the blood burst into flames. He leaned against the wooden pole for support as he aimed at the shaman wereshark; however, his hands were shaking, adding to the difficulty of firing at the moving target. He looked towards the dwarf standing not too far away. "See if you can find some way to hold that one still. I'm too weak to use too much more magic, so I'll be relying on skill and luck to fire this." Let's just hope it's good luck.

IC: Nodding, Leo charged at the shaman, whom unleashed a blast of energy at him. Dodging the ball, he grabbed a cutlass and stabbed at the shaman. It merely sidestepped, grabbed the cutlass and broke it in half. Gnashing its teeth, the shaman jumped at Leo and knocked him down. Turning his axe horizontally, the dwarf was now engaged in a test of strength between the monster.

IC:
Wolf was at the helm, pushing the fleet into a full sail.
"Sire, recipent seems to be under attack, and is currently being followed by eleven hostile vessels."
Wolf nodded, not surprised. The sailor was surprised at Wolf's lack of a surprised reaction at a seemingly surprising surprise move on what would be a surprise for the two groups.
"I thought as much. Let us suprise them in the middle of the surprise attack on the surprised pirates." Wolf motioned for the sailor to take the helm.
"Set a course to reach those pirates from behind. Those hostiles are surprisingly slow for a surprise attack on a suprised group of people."
