Although, Sal made a bit of a mistake. Democracy and communism are neither synonyms nor antonyms. Communism is an economic system. Democracy is a political one. You can have socialist democracy (George Orwell supported this, I think) and capitalist dictatorship (Hitler supported this, I think). But I do prefer moderate capitalist democracy.
