I noticed that when you post the F word, it is kinda blocked out and put as "fudge". A nice thing I wanted to share.
Also, I didn't find this out because I was being mean to anyone. I wanted to see whether it would block it out, so i private messaged myself.

Yeah, don't test it out here. Try private messaging yourself if you think im lying
Fruityfed
Yeah, that's the wonderful censor at work. It blocks most bad words (damn and hell don't count). It's kinda cool, I guess. tongue.gif

EDIT: And by block, I mean change to a different word.
Fang
also the 'sh' word is put as shizzle

Great! Sals is a great site for even the youngest of kids to be on. We don't have to worry about anyone being a bad influence on younger kids. Keep up the great work Sal!

The censor is part of the default if I recall slanty.gif.

Yes a great place for kids besides the fact that we discuss hentai, porn, masturbation and other things that could scar a kid for life.

Then again a couple of 4th graders today we're acting like they were teenagers. The information that spreads across the internet.

Wow, it's surprising how few of those words were changed. Although, I suppose because it's the Debate Room, you need to know the right word.

I doubt all of it is default.
Why would another name for a donkey and another name for your behind be changed to 'cabbage'?

As in:
I don't have a horse, I have an cabbage.

It is a default part but the user (sal) has to set which words are blocked?
But I think having cabbage blocked is bad, I mean even Jagex allow us to say it tongue.gif
Ming Der
So if you typed fudge it would be .... smile.gif

If it's default then how did Sal remove the censor on "Omfg" that changed to "oh my gosh"?

That's exactly what I meant. The censor system is a default part of the forum software. Sal or another Administrator had to input the word to block and what word to replace it with.
Day
Yeah, especially with Invision. All you have to do is go to "Word Filters" and then input the word, and input the word you want it to be changed to when someone types it. So easy a caveman could do it rolleyes.gif
