• Mechscape has its own control mechanism, not similar to Runescape.
• MechScape will be AWESOME!
• MechScape and RuneScape usernames will be the same.
• MechScape won't be launched until it is AWESOME!
• There will be more than one playable race (species), one of which is the Pliigi.
• It's going to be aimed at an older audience (hopefully...), which means more allowance for swearing?

I think we can safely assume there will be PvP. A game without any PvP whatsoever? Fail, and Jagex undoubtedly knows it.

there will definatly be a pvp. whats the point of a mmorpg without pvp.

heres what i can assume. for runescape, jagex uses runescript, a language that compiles into java. they might not use runescript for this(or maybe a remade version), so it could mean a WASD setup without a grid to walk on, or a very small one if any. I doubt it will cater to older people, seeing as when jagex says runescape is targetting 13-20 year old players yet simplifying the game to a point that seems like we need security on everything we do so WE DONT LOSE OUR RUNE SWORD OMG NOOOO.

I doubt it. RuneScape's filter just got drastically reduced, allowing nearly any swear word you want, and any other that you want to say can be easily said now by 1337 speak.

Eh, I dont like the idea of Mechscape. IMO, I like the medieval/fantasy type games like Runescape. I'm not so hyped up about games in space and all of that.

Besides Starcraft. That game was amazing.

Did you read any of the other 100+ posts on this forum? If so, you should have roughly an idea of what MechScape is. Or, LOOK AT THE NAME. MechSCAPE RuneSCAPE Notice the similarity? If you didn't, are you mentally challenged?

MechScape is a new MMO Jagex is making. It will be futuristic. They say that it will not be "RuneScape in space".

Its the new MMORPG JaGeX is making. But IT ISN'T JUST RUNESCAPE IN THE FUTURE. It is gonna be very different, according to Mod MMG

I like how mechscape looks to turn out, except for the usernames would be the same. Because now that all the good ones are coming out, people have to use stuff like RUN35A9E and things like that. I think they should just have a fresh start with mechscape.
