So I bought some Bose in ear headphones. I was running to catch the bus, and I lost an earbud. Overall, I've had some horrible experiences with these headphones, I don't want to bother with Bose anymore, and I don't want to bother buying some buds.

Can someone recommend headphones in the $10 - $30 range, for commuting. I will accept some earphones AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT EARBUDS or bose.

Thanks guys.

Skullcandy is possible, as long as they aren't buds.

Quality can be an issue, I mean, I'm getting what I pay for.

I have these. I recommend them 100%. I use them regularly on the bus. They're lightweight and really comfortable, and the sound quality is great.

These suggestions are great, and I'll consider them

Before I do though, can you recommend something circumaural?

For commuting, no. I have Sony V900HD's that fold up, but they're a huge hassle to carry around. For even $50, I can't think of suitable circumaural headphones, though those supra-aural and clip-on designs are OK for the price. The PX100 are very popular folding headphones. The PortaPros can take abuse, but they're still a ball when folded up.

Really? You didn't like your Bose In Ears? I've had mine for 15+ months now and they still are amazing. I've had to order new buds for them, as I lost one of them one day. But for $10, shipped, for two sets it wasn't a big deal. I still get the great sound out of them and are very comfortable.

And they survived a trip through the wash. ohmy.gif

What have your bad experiences been with your set? Mine have had zero problems.

So what you are looking ofr is some headphones that fit good, and also doesnt fall off and with good sound?
Skullcandy is some good ones, they have a little room inside where your ear gets somehow stuck, but still possible to take off. (difficult to explain it.. sleep.gif )

You could take a look at the contest Nokia was holding, where they made headsets out from sketches. laugh.gif
It was really many kinds blink.gif
