There is no official date yet, the date is still unconfirmed, but Jagex presume it will release this Spring.

To bring a Jagex quote (from MMG) to the topic...

We can't give you a release date at the moment because large complex game development projects such as this one are extremely hard to estimate. The last thing we want after spending so much time and energy on this project is a rushed release, which is why we won't launch it until we are confident that it is ready

And another quote, from Henrique Olifiers, head of MechScape...
When is the new title coming out?
One of the biggest problems with MMOGs these days is how rushed they are launched, invariably letting players down due to excessive bugs or half-baked design decisions. We want to make it right, fun, huge, amazing. When it has all these ingredients, we'll invite you to try it out and tell us what you think of it. Forget about any dates you might have heard for its launch, we're not bound to them but to quality and excellence. The game will be released when we feel it has reached maturity, as simple as that.

Not Really It Could come next year, your know this is a big project jagex is working on to bring alive.

Jagex has been working on it for 2 years+, 1 more year is a little too much.

I disagree, games like this should be well thought out and planned. so as to not ruin the game pfft.gif.

Exactly, if you launch a crappy MMORPG then your never gonna build up the fanbase.

Both true, but I think what Sofee is eluding to is that I doubt they would need to spend that much longer on it. I'm sure they wouldn't go that far over their original idea of Spring tongue.gif

Actually, it's been about 4 years. It was set to be released in '06 so who knows how much time was spent on it prior to then. Plus, they keep finding things that they would like to do in the game from the start.
