Wow...guys, your quest ideas sound so much like Shaiya... It's freaky. Trust me, the storylines of RuneScape quests are
much better than "kill x robomonkeys." I've done both. It's the storylines of RuneScape quests that make me like them so much, and like the game so much. For me, training is just about pointless if it's not for some quest or minigame, or some boss monster. The storylines are what sets RuneScape quests apart from almost every other MMORPG quests in the world. Sure, I'd love more action in the quests, but never less storyline.
How about this one: "Person #1 is about to be attacked by robomonkeys (what?! I love robomonkeys!

), and needs supplies for a weapon that will destroy vast amounts of robomonkeys without destroying organic matter. You go off to find these supplies. It turns out that the robomonkeys have foreseen this, though, and have set up a laser protection system around the supplies. You have to figure out a way to disable the system without alerting the monkeys. (Stealth.) You almost get it disabled, then a monkey guard sees you. You try to destroy the monkey guard before it alerts the other monkeys, but fail. Now you're under attack, but you still have to get the parts. You run through the lasers and grab the parts, run back and get out of there, destroying the few brave monkeys who were brave enough to tail you out of their camp. Getting back to Person #1, he tries to use the material to make the last component of the gun, but realizes it's a cheap imitation! (Like pyrite is to gold.) The monkeys were smarter than we thought and replaced the materials with the fake. You must now find the real materials, but this time the monkeys are expecting you!"
And the quest goes on, but I'm too lazy to write more. You get the general idea.
