NOT INTENDED FOR RUNESCAPE
Because of my fair access policy, after downloading a certain amount of bytes in a specific amount of time, my internet slows down to dial-up speeds. The only exception to the policy is: From 3-6 am, my internet speeds up and allows me to download as much as I want for the three hours without slowing down. Files as small as 8mb become risky to download because the policy is enforced at "random" times. I used to get up at 5am just to download and update files and apps. Now I am getting up later, which leaves me just enough time to get up, get ready, and leave. An order to download and update apps without exceeding the fair access policy, I want to create a timed macro to resume downloading files at 3am.
I just don't know which programs will be safe. Which are virus free and good?
