Midnight, Book One: Escape.

As you can see throughout the story, it's kind of mixed with real life and runescape stuff. Of course runescape dosent have guns, but real life dosent have a Barbarian Village either. Things like floor 3, section 15 I just made up. Same with Falador. I never said they're bad. It's just a story. Like if this story was from Falador's point of view, you could think Varrock is bad.

..::Chapter 1::..

It's a beautiful morning outside. The birds are chirpping, the people are nice and peaceful, the stores are opening, ready for a great day to come. The weather has been amazing this year for the food and crops to grow. So it puts meals on the table for families. The tax had decreased as we deal with more than enough, and the amount of homless people has gone down a lot since last year. The Varrock General Store (VGS) is the biggest Store in Varrock. It has been managing well this year. But the main thing that is keeping this city alive is trade. People trade their economic items for food, they trade off items that they don't need, and have good relationships throughout the people. It's the perfect life for a king. Although, I have to deal with the LDWC (Lumbridge Druids Woodcutting Company). They are cutting down the trees that surround Varrock and support many of our needs. Last year, we built the Grand Exchange. The biggest buying and selling session in the world. It supports not only our city, but the rest of the world with their needs. It's been a great history for our city. Today, I go to represent the City of Varrock to go sign a treaty with the Duke of Lumbridge. Our two cities has gotten along quite well throughout history. Of course, there are a few flaws with our friendship. But, we try our best to get through things.

"Sir, we have some bad news. It's about Falador", says one of my guards in a nervous tone. "Our top rival in the East end".

"Yes, I haven't heard from them in a while, what is it?", I ask.

Falador has been a quite town. They just continue with their mining fields as if they are cut off from the rest of the world.

"Well..."

"They are surrounding Lumbridge!", yells the taller guard next to him, cutting him off before he could say anymore.

"My lord! Lumbirdge is a nice peaceful city, why would they want to hurt them", I ask in an impatient voice.

"We got a call from their Commander. He said that there is no way we are signing a treaty with Lumbridge. So we can go on with our buisness like we never thought of it", the shorter guard told me a calm voice.

Now it all makes sence, Falador is trying to dig their mines farther farther west to hit the runite ores. Which could make them more richer which makes them more powerful. So that's why they were keeping quiet and not causing any trouble with us! They were concentrating on hitting underground Catherby. This is probably a distraction. This is one of the hardest decisions i've had to make. If we set war on Falador, they could turn their army north and invade us, instead of Lumbridge. If we go underground into the Dwarvern Mines and catch up to them, they will burn our city to the ground without a second thought. But if we just sit back and watch them get more richer and powerful, they will finally have the technology they've been craving to invade us once and for all.

The lightbulb just went on! I got an idea.

"Gather all of our people here at the square. I got a announcement to make", I demanded in a high voice.

"Yes sir", they ran off to call the gathering.

Now that everyone is here, the sounds are louder. People are chatting, walking and just overall, making sound. What I am about to say, may be the biggest decision made in the history of Varrock. It's not good news at all, it could start chaos within the world, but it's the only way to seprate the good from the bad. Show who's the boss and not to mess with the Treaty of Runescape.

"Everyone, I would like to announce some important news. That I would like to be obeyed. It won't seem like a great decision right now, but in the end...our city well still be alive", I yell into the crowd.

Everyone just looks around and at eachother chatting about what they think might happen. Even what to do. I hope they like my decision.

"Quiet please everyone. I would like to discuss the matter with you all", I say in a yelling, yet calm voice.

The area goes quiet. You could hear a pindrop it's so quiet.

"As most of you may know, I was getting ready to go on my way south to Lumbridge to sign a treaty. Unfortuantly, we got a call from the Commander of Falador saying they have surrounded Lumbridge to avoid us from signing the treaty", I said. "Now it's not that, but as many of you know we are rivals with Falador. They have kept quiet latley, but we found out that they are concentrated in the Dwarvern mines, mining west towards unground Catherby to the Runites to become richer and more powerful to finish us off", I countinued.

"Myself, and the council has discussed this matter. So we find the most suitable way to save our city is to pack up your most valuable possesions, and meet at the border of Varrock and what used to be Barbarian Village before it got cleared out by Falador in which is now a empty place", I continue discussing this matter towards the city.

"But what about food, shelter and water", Marissa, a clerk at the Grand Exchange talks loudly while walking into the front of the crowd.

"Taken care of", I say in a relief. "Al Kharid, Catherby and East Ardougne, some of our closest friends are also very powerful. They well be protecting the city, protecting where we well be staying and also, trying to catch up to Falador and finish them. They will be sending a few people to come down and supply us with our needs", I say with a proud responce.

The city continues without a sound.

"So please go get your supplies, and meet at the border in 20 minutes", says one of my trustful guards.

*20 minutes later*

"Ok, everyone please follow", I said getting ready.

As we walk across the bridge over the river cutting through, the people of Varrock sound very nervous.

"Ok everyone, so please crawl within under the rocks and we well go to floor 3 section 15 to stay. It's one of the biggest sections in the place, and the best. That's where we are staying, but feel free to roam around", I say as i'm getting ready to go onward with one of the biggest Varrock decisions ever made.

"Welcome to your temporary homes everyone, I hope you enj...", the sound of the stampedes is cutting off my voice.

The whole place went dark!

"What was that?!", yells Dan, the armour shop cashier.

Throughout the sound of chatting, screams, cries and yells....the sound of a gunshot goes throughout the area.

Why is faldor bad? Theyre the best, and with the white knights... I kinda disagree with that (but that's probably cuz I hate varrok). And also, whats with the gunshot, i didnt know there were guns in runescape. Please explain.
