You did extract them to C:/Windows/Fonts, right? Try opening the fonts up in Paint or Word or something.

I clicked a random font in my file on computer. I right-click 'Extract to...' Window comes up and I search for Windows in ACER C: (something like that) and I found it. No Fonts folder. Do I make a new one?

Extract the font to your desktop.
Go to C:/Windows/Fonts
Drag the font to that folder.

You can find the fonts folder in the control panel.
