Scry Arcane
Yes, there are a thousand topics like this, but I want to know how to make one. I'm not good at it, so can someone help me kindly? I have the chatbox tool on my computer, k?

Well, there are many types of fakes, so endless possibilities of making a fake.

"Easy" Fakes:
Beginners should always start with something like these. It is a good way to get the feel for faking, and usually they look good too.
-Item Fakes: Make your own new item. These usually don't get good ratings if they are alone because usually they are quite simple.
-Map Fakes: Make your own town or island and put it in the World Map. If you make it right, the ratings can be pretty good
-Recolors: Fakes where you recolor items or certain places to make them look good. Usually these don't get good rating though, because they take no time at all.

"Challenging Fakes"
Challenging Fakes are usually made by the "better" fakers. They include the whole game screen opposed to just an item or piece of equiptment.
They include pieces of easy fakes and incorporate them more into the game-setting, either by showing the person wearing your new item, or your person actually standing in a new town you designed.
These fakes are most common, and usually tend to get good ratings.

"Hard Fakes"
Hard fakes are rare to come by. They are usually suggestions and have a lot of detail involved. Usually they are completetly original, and a new idea for the RuneScape setting.
One good example is found here. This fake is it's own idea, and it looks good too.
Again, these fakes take tons of effort and time to make, and usually recieve the best ratings wink.gif

Tips:
-Try to make your fake look Runescapy. Compare your fake to the game, and see if it looks like whatever you faked could happen in game. Ex: A spray bottle and messy solid paint lines would not appear since runescape has shading, so you would have to go back to your fake and shade the lines to make them fit in better.
-Look at other people's fakes to get a clue on how to make yours. Other people have great ideas, as well as great fakes to go along with it.

I would recommend checking out Beret's guide, which is stickied in the screenshot fakes forum. It really helped me for my fakes.
