Have you installed SP2 for Windows Vista yet? Are you satisfied with it? Have you noticed any big changes?

If you have Windows Vista and have not yet installed Service Pack 2, Check for Updates and it should be ready for you!

Yep, I did and seriously regret it. My themes file have been patched, and when SP2 installed, they went crazy, so I had to uninstall SP2 and manually unpatch then repatch my files.

What a hassle.

I haven't installed it as I'm no longer running Vista - Windows 7 RC ftw - but according to this article the major changes are better Bluetooth and processor compatibility, improved Wireless, Blue-ray disc support and faster search.

Nothing major really. There are already third-party apps for these functions.

I'll get around to it once I've troubleshooted the issue with my monitor's AC-in slot -_-

It shouldn't bring anything major, since they already worked out the stability with SP1, my guess is that it's more fluff.

Installed it earlier today, Installation seemed to of gone smooth and no problems so far

I've downloaded it, but I haven't installed it yet. I'm looking forward to formatting my laptop this week, so I guess I'll apply the patch then.

That happened to me, too.

Except Vista Glazz (currently) has a SP1 version. sad.gif

But yea, it sucks when this stuff happens. The things I give up for an awesome looking computer.

Hah, I might get that. SP1 corrupted one of my .dll's and now I'm running the Windows '98 theme (without a sidebar) and can't change it. xd.gif Fine with me, though. The start-up is much faster as compared to a beefed up theme and sidebar. tongue.gif

Meh, it was about the same for me when I was running the 98 theme. 30 second start up ROCKS. biggrin.gif

The SP2 compatible VistaGlazz will be available soon. It's in closed beta right now.

Argh, so now I have to reupdate it?

I guess that beats having the annoying update icon. bleh.gif
