1. The image is JPEG, meaning it's harder to recolour.
2. You didnt take time on this recolour anyway

Yes, GIMP. GNU Image Manipulation Program. It's basically a free, but not-as-flexible and wide in range, program like Photoshop. Wallah.

Looks very messy, and not well shaded at all.

In fact, no real shading done at all...

There is a more effective way to recolour in Paint:

• Have the colour you want to replace as your primary colour.
• Have the colour you want to recolour with as your secondary colour.
• Select the Erase Tool.
• Start erasing using the right button of your mouse.

That's confusing, can you explain it a bit more.

I'm not gonna lie either, I don't know how to use gimp. No offense, but I don't think you could do better.
