The Warrior of Eve
Chapter One: Death's Burden
"Get back here sir!" Rocks yelled across the war-stricken field of Falador. He was terrified, the king of falador ran into the battlefield with only a dagger trying to cross thousands of Ogres and mages killing each other off.
"This is a requirement! It is the only way, nothing else will stop him!" Sir Verik yelled back to Rocks as he jumped over dead bodies and dodged flying arrows and spears. The next thing Verik knew was he was in the air, his leg was in so much pain he wanted to die. A Green Dragon had grabbed his leg. He was flying in the air, the blood falling down onto the Ogres making them want to kill even more.
"King Verik!!!" Rocks yelled up, tears coming from his eyes. All the other knights fired arrows and fire spells into the air, the dragon easily dodged them all. It felt like a hopeless attempt to save him. One fire spell hit the dragon in the head making the flames engulf on the dragon. The dragon's head looked like a big ball of fire, but the fire slowly blew off of the dragon, the dragon seemed like he didn't even feel it.
When all hope was lost a flaming arrow shot out of no where and hit the dragon's eye.
"Grahh! Rawr!!!" The dragon howled in pain. The flames on the arrow slowly faded and a explosion happen on the dragons head. All the people below could see was the dragon falling, all fighting stopped to see the action. The dragon fell and hit the ground. Dust flew into the air making the sky seem like it was radioactive. Everyone stared in fear, they had no idea what happened to the king, if he fell or not. Then, out of all the dust a figure walked out. It was the king, he fell to his knees and then his face hit the grass. Every knight ran over to him as the mages used their power to make a wall of ice surrounding the falador knights. Then, ontop of the dragon was a figure, he had dragon armor, dragon plate legs, and a dragon full helment. In his hand was a crystal bow and in the other one was a dragon kite shield. He had a reed hood on his head covering his face, and a cape on his back. It was a cape that had a sword on it, no one knew who he was. He lifted off the dragon making dust flow under him.
He floated into the air as a magical aura came around him. Then in minutes, he was gone. It was like he teleported some where. After the brave knight was gone the falador knights had taken away the king and left the mages there. They had a huge orb of water aiming fro the few Ogres who quickly turned and ran out of the falador gate, and then they lived happliy ever after
"That was awesome!" A small boy yelled.
"That knight is so cool!" Another one yelled.
"Now, now kids, run home, it is getting late." Vik said in a happy tone voice. He just got done telling the kids a story, it made him happy to see the kids smiling and laughing. He looked up into the air and took a deep breathe to smell the roses blooming and the yew trees being cut down.
"Mr. Vik, is that knight real?" A small boy asked. He had long black hair with baggy clothes on and something that looked like a dragon symbol on his neck. Vik stared at the dragon symbol, he thought it was impossible but that kid might be, the Warrior of Eve.
"Um, no one knows, just run along son." Vik smiled at the boy. He didn't know what to do so after the boy ran home he looked up at the dawn sky pondering the kid.
"Well, looks like their is another one of you." Vik said looking up at the sky. He saw a figure of a man, but he was only day dreaming as the sun set and the moon glew down onto the Falador bank.
