EDIT: Fixed, thanks anyway. smile.gif

Was going to do some editing on something, when I got a completely random problem. Problem is, see the icon I have high lighted in the picture bellow of the white hand?

Absolutely none of the other tools will work. What I mean is, see how I have the crop icon high lighted?

Basically when I click that the white hand/glove thing still appears instead of the crop tool. I can't actually crop anything. I tried opening up other image files, closing and reopening PS, but am still getting this problem. Weird thing is, I've NEVER used that white hand tool thing. Ever.

Anyone have a solution or suggestion? D:

EDIT: Also tried using other tools but the hand still comes up. Also, the hand only appears while going over the file, while I'm not hovering over it the mouse appears to look like the correct tool.

EDIT 2: Oooh k... This is getting weirder by the minute. Now the crop tool randomly started working bought only lets me make the crop area bigger/smaller in diagonal directions, not left/right or up/down. pfft.gif

EDIT 3: See?

ReVOLT
Is there a foreign object/body part (idk where that came from) hitting a stray key? If not, then well i really dont know what to do. My suggestion is a re-boot of ur comp, which usually works for me. I myself am going to read up on the white hand tool thing. I thought adobe was supposed to be good with all its products (especially the hundred dollar ones bleh.gif )

Edit: hand to is just an alternative to using a scroll bar, and works while another tool is selected by holding down the spacebar.
Lord Earth
Well I defiantly wasn't holding down the space bar. pfft.gif

Restarted computer, just about everything is working now, EXCEPT the crop tool, which still only lets me make the crop box bigger/smaller diagonally. pfft.gif
